I have a pH meter and today I will get a TDS meter.
I’m growing in a mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog with added coarse perlite.
Also, what ppm range should my nute mix be?
In soil you want your PH at 6.5 +/- .2
You should not have to add nutrients to Foxfarm soil until well into the veg phase. When you notice the leaves turning a lighter shade of green; You can add a nutrient solution of 400-600 ppm. Happy growing!

When you have to add more nutes to your water, this should cause your ppm in your water to go up correct? I’m using the General Hydroponics Flora Series of nutes and I’m trying to dial my ppm going in and coming out just right.
