I would like to send you all a great big thank you

You guys are the best. After making the request for a detailed blow by blow accounting of how you get your seeds to pop and seedlings to grow I realized I had some kind of nerve. But you came through. Thank You. In the mean time I think I may have figured out at least part of the problem. How many of you have used Root Riot. If you have you know the feel just like a sponge when they are new and moist. However if you let the tops dry out they feel just like a dried out sponge. It would take a bottle jack to get something through it. That is what I think I was doing. I Have started using Happy Frog and that seems to have help. It is amazing to me how the littlest thing being over looked can cause everything to go sideways. I will read ALL of your recomendations and learn from them. Once again thank you so much.

It has been in my life. I had a friend that used to say things are always darkest just before they go pitch black.

Just take it day by day. As you encounter issues, ask about them. As you have successes, share them. Pics are great everyone loves pics especially when trying to nail down an issue. Also fill out a ticket or at least provide some background info with your questions. It helps the knowledgeable be able to ascertain possibilities of the issue at hand.

This is an awesome forum. I have conversed with some very knowledgeable and honorable people here. I don’t feel worthy at times because of how I lived my life so vicariously and tore it up to the point that I have nothing or no one to call a true friend. I can come here and know I will get help and someone to guide me through the process of cannabis cultivation with kindness and care and concern. I had a rough start here, mostly due to the stress my neighbors were causing me at the time and I took it out on other people. I said some things here that I regret but I put myself in check and recognized what was happening
But, through all of this and my stupid questions and my repeated stumbles and mistakes (I’m hard headed) these people here still come to my aide when I start burning up my plants again. They are a great bunch of people here. I love coming here daily to check out everyone’s grow and learn from reading they’re phlite into this dilemma of cannabis cultivation. It’s a sorta safe haven for me. I love plants and nature and I love animals. This is the place to be. I wished it could be a virtual place of a forum where it’s a big room where we could all hang out.

As it turns out they were right.

Whats going on here

Is it veg stage, is it pre flower?

I’ve been experimenting with germ techniques. Just dropped two ILGM apple fritters in riot cubes in ACI prop unit. First time using.

As I have look into this further I am now certain that the biggest problem was that I was letting root riot dry out to much and the seeds could not pop through it. Some of the ones that did get a tape root were put into the root riot after I had got them good and wet. Following what I read ON THE INTERNET,I decided not to water them again until the little darlings stuck their heads up. Well they never did. I put the seeds about 1/2 inch under the surface. Well these root riot plugs get hard as hell when they they start getting dry. For that reason they never came up. Of course I got desperate and finally put water on them. To late I’m afraid. I am going to try the peroxide solution the nest time I start a go. Thanks again.
