When using LED lights for veg stage what’s better blue red or both? I’m told blues good for keeping the plants short and that’s what i want but what would be best for the plants in the long run?

If you are referring to the blurple light that you can buy on amazon for a dollar-two-ninety-eight, run both,! You will need every bit of that light you can use.

If interested in better light options to increase your grow by possibly, say 50%, then let us know. Lots of better diy options for twice the power with a lot less heat.

If you want, you can let this be sort of a new grow journal or you start a new one if you don’t already have one. Just make sure to tag folks using the @ symbol in front of their name like me, @spyonyou or @dbrn32, he is the light guru!!, I meant expert! :joy: (still can’t thank him enough for he does.) If nothing else, tag me, and I’ll hook you up with some knowledgeable folks on here.

First tell us about you grow setup so we know what we’re working with.
There is a support ticket on here if you can find it. Fill it out best you can and then we can better determine what’s best for you.
Good luck with whatever you decide. :+1:t2: :sunglasses:

A balanced amount of wavelengths from the par region will give you best looking leaves and good growth.

Your blue spectrum is for veg stage, after you get about three full sets of leafs I would turn both blue and red Spectrum on. Keeping the plants short you might consider topping and also consider the height of the light.
Good luck
