I have 4 Blueberry kush plants in a 5x5 tent (they had issues with heat and humidity being too high for a couple weeks before I got the tent. They are 10-11 weeks old and I just noticed a few pollen sacks on only 1 of the 4.
Someone suggested chopping it down and harvesting early but it makes me wonder if I would get anything worth it for that work. This is my best looking plant. What are the chances I can keep it if I cut off all the balls?
I’ve had this issue once before and honestly the best advice I can give you is, if you have another grow spot move the hermed plant completely away from your female plants. that may be the only way to truly save it without seeding out your entire grow.
You may have to clean out your grow area to get rid of the pollen that the herm plant may have already produced.
Now come harvest time you can still smoke the herm plant after plucking all the lovely seeds. Not as potent but it’s not garbage either.
If you chose to do nothing your entire crop will seed (happened to me) big pain in the ass still was all smokeable and I’ve had 100’s of seeds since. They’re not all good seeds by no means but I was able to set up another good sized grow from those seeds and I never had another herm or male since. Still have them too and it’s been 4 years since that mistake.
Sorry may not be the best advice but that’s from my past experience. As far as I know you can’t just “nuder” the male.
