I know some-ah y'all gonna laugh

I second that. It’s probably the most effective spray on caterpillars. Parasitic bugs work well too. Lacewings and lil shiny salt wasps are probably the best. Have to plant flowering herbs to attract them though, so not going to happen overnight.

Don’t forget cabbage and lettuce moths. The little all white ones, sometimes mottled grey. Those moth caterpillars love to munch the kind bud too.

Thats what i saw was little white moths but they left my lettuce alone lol.

No CSI Humbolt is not the same as Humbolt seed company.

I was on their site for a minute last night!
Yeah, not the same at all.
It’s a different situation, those seeds, hell, I have Nowhere to grow anything that can get that wide of tall. And they’re ain’t no toppin’ gon’ stop them monsters from growing.
I also downloaded a e book on some old school ( and Landrace) strains.
I’m about to jump into the science behind germinating seeds, and learn about soils and making them, which I was certain I’d never do, but just watering for 84-90 days is alot less stress on me. Lol
I’ma study each stage separately.
So I can kinda master each one individually, then later, collectively by application of what I can aquire in my research, and mostly here.
I’m huge on History, so if you wanted to discuss some ancient civilizations, we could delve into that and stay there all day.
That’s how savvy I would like to be about this particular hobby/craft that is interesting to me, and with severe ADHD, not alot grabs my attention, or I spread it thin, and fizz out.
Bottom line, if I can cook dope, this should not be complicated to me at all
Just a longer process, and patience is something Im lacking on.

You start em off indoor, then take em the greenhouse.
That’s good idea.

Normally I do. Some plants like the Lebanese do fine direct sew. They aren’t super big plants anyway. The bigger ones like Afghans, if want a super big plant, I’ll do some starts and after about 6 weeks of veg I’ll plant em out in the spring. The big thing is timing the light with the spring sun so you dont trip them into flowering.
These plants will stay indoors and I may yake a few cuts for good measure.

There was a Nepal strain that Willie Nelson really loves. It’s actually in a cross with something or other that makes one of his, I believe.
Maybe I should Google that.

Actually amazing job, sometimes back to basics is the best way. No need to over complicate things if it it works :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:t2: is the runtz royal queen seeds by any chance? If so, i wouldnt recommend, my personal opinion anyway i dont rate them, mephisto are good for autos, after my current run im going to try some auto regs for the first time, breeder called Viking Gardens, see what all the fuss is about

@Se7en I don’t think you are supposed to post other seed sites on the ILGM forum. That would be a nono my friend. Besides ILGM is the best place for seeds and the only place I get them. Never been disappointed. Happy growing!

Dude the f1 auto series from royal queen is fire. I have milky way f1 and hyperion f1. Both are phenomenal. And when grown right are heavy hitters as well

Necessity is the mother of invention. Don’t feel bad at all, we all do it. I couldn’t keep my tent under 80 during the summer and didn’t want to spend money on a mini ac so here is what I did with some leftover dryer vent. Took the ceiling vent cover off and lodged the vent up into it and the other end went in the tent.

Worked perfect lol

@MsGreenThumbs is that vented into the atic? Or a heater vent. Going to the atic seems like you would be adding a lot more humidity. For the heat. I prefer not to see my tents under 80. I do a lot better with higher temps. Or 80 - 86 I see close to a hundred a few times a grow during summer. But high temps have never done any bad for me. I am like you. I am not paying to cool down the plants when I need it more

I try to keep mine in the mid 70’s through the whole grow. At least till the last week or 2. Then cooler temps to.bring out the color. Seems to have worked out pretty good for me. Nice job cooling things off. That’s using your noggin!

If my brain is not failing me, I think I read somewhere along the way that the average optimal leaf surface temp is 83 F. I like to keep my environment between 80 - 85.
