Wow! 3 types.. the worst ones are the asian hemp borer, and the corn borer, then theres the friken tomato horn worm… they can eat a lot of plant material. Pigs!

The hurricane that hit last year. We were without power for several days. I can’t remember it was over a week if I’m not mistaken. But we went out of town and when we came back. Moth were everywhere. I’ve never seen anything like it. They even got into sealed containers. I do not know how. A pantry was covered with them. And I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from until I started moving some items around. I guess the humidity in the house and the heat and the light was a perfect breeding ground for them. We even had the shelf mats down on the cabinet. The ones that had little holes in it were the worst. And they will eat I didn’t know they had teeth like that. I hate to hear that someone got some bugs from those things. I definitely kill them when I see them. The best thing I found was a shop vac was easiest to get rid of them because you can’t catch them and kill them. They’re so fast or they just move with the airflow. Now I got these black flies and I’ve never seen anything like it before. They’re in our house they’re outside. I’ve seen where they congregate underneath our carport. I’ve never seen these type of black flies. They look like a small mosquito, but they’re not.
I had some kale outback looking great. I said I’ll wait. One more day went out there. The next day in caterpillar’s had eaten everything. I’ve never seen anything like that happen before.
Our kale was hit like that this fall, went in eradication mode quick saved some of it.
Is this indoor, or one of the green house kits you can build
Not a kit, I built if from scrap plywood, some full dimension cedar two by fours and the bed boxes are cants from the mill. The cover is from Northern greenhouse supply, really rugged woven opaque greenhouse poly.
Its 12’ x 24’ by 12’ tall vented at the top.
I line the walls below dirt with old metal roof and the corners I lay some of the poly to keep the wood from rotting when you water. The poly stays in all year and when it shows heavy I just go out and slide it off
The tubing is 2" schedule 40 pvc all I do is drill a hole in caps, and screw the cap onto the sill. Same with the wall and bend the tubing, stuff em in there. You also need 1x4 spreaders to keep the tubing spread proper. Its an easy build. Took 3 days
How does a plant get that big
The bigger the root, the bigger the fruit. To be fair, though it’s primarily genetics. Though, you still need good soil and a decent climate. Watering is done when required and done deeply. Many of the modern hybrids would never achieve tree status because they are bred to be short and produce heavy indoors. The strains made from some landraces tend to grow very large, up to 20 feet or more. There are strains that grow like vines that are really difficult to deal with, and for their size produce very little bud… but the bud is often incredible. A lot of modern strains are bred short and with a fast turn around time.. for obvious reasons. However, you can also find strains that take 4 months just to flower! Many equatorial strains are long flower… some African strains are long flower. Most commercial or illegal growers are not interested in growing these strains because they can double their yeild with faster strains. Though I will say, if you’ve ever smoked some long flower cannabis… and stayed upright and conscious… you would know why some grow it 
I have a 6 x 9 dog kennel that i use for outdoor. Cover it with 40% shade cuz i live at 5000’ sun is so intense nothing grows in direct open sunlight which is most every day here. I would like some plastic for early season i think.

The opague plastic is really nice.. look up Northern greenhouse supply. Its really inexpensive compared to a tarp at the hardware store, shit is mega durable. I’ve had mine up for 8 years or so? All year winter and summer.

I was able for a short time to work In Oregon, wet trimming,for a few bricks. id stay a week (fly in for 170) work trimming or packing( on a farm that no out house, no toilets, nunna dat. 250$ Greyhound home with 5 or 6 bricks of my choice.And very recently that SAME farm got hit in a trickle down from a hemp shop the DEA was all over, in Medford and Eugene.

I used to live in Cal as a kid/ teenager. If you want some really good quality seed have a look at CSI Humbolts website. The guy is a breeder, a 3rd generation weed grower. His strains are top notch. My friend here in the Shuswap has been in the growing circles around here for decades, used to set up clandestine operations all over the area. He still has many of the older and a lot of the newer strains, grows in gutters. Has moms for clones and a pollenatiin room for seeding. Aside from RSC, he’s the go to guy around here for the top dog shit. When you grow landraces, you get what you get, I may grow out 10 plants and maybe 1 of them is a keeper? Maybe? But when it’s gold it’s usually really good and you kick yourself for not taking some cuts. He takes cuts of every pkant he starts from seed.
