Hi everyone I have 2 led grow lamps that I’m not using. I would love to donate them to a grower in this community. Ideally someone growing for medicinal purposes and a limited budget. I’m kinda new to this community so I’m not sure how it works.

Unfortunately the sharing of personal contact details are prohibited on the forum. It protects both the site and the individual members.
That said, you can list it on a site like eBay and post the link to the sale here for the members to look at. I’m not sure how eBay works and whether or not you can sell to qualified buyers at a discount. I’m guessing not.
I’ve got a few lights that I’d like to sell myself, but I’ve been too lazy to put them on eBay.

Hey @Jimster we have an eBay section in the forum. As @MidwestGuy pointed that eBay links allowed, and you could post your listing.
As for the eBay account, it’s an off site transaction. To save the grower additional cost, a price could be negotiated ahead of time, just like any other buyer for a lower cost.

On the eBay listing you can have a “Make Offer” added and the one making the offer can add a short message. Simply put in the message you are an ILGM member and you will know he/she is a member here. If I remember we are not allowed to post eBay links here, but you can post the listing Name like…
“Used Led Grow Lights I no longer need”
Just make it something that will be easy to find. If its too short or simple then the search will return lots of listing to look through. You can also post the primary picture here so we know which one it is. I dont think any of this would violate forum rules.

Thanks for your kind words. Our craft/hobby can get expensive especially when you’re on a fixed income like me. The lights paid for themselves 10 fold so I wasn’t looking to make any money off them. In the short time being on this forum I’ve become a better grower so just trying to give a little something back
