Chopped it down at precisely 4:20 today. Got it hanging up in my small tent with a bucket of ice to drop the temp closer to 60°. Rh is right about 45%. Hopefully its good for a couple days, give my time to trim it down and into the netted herb dryer.

Try to get that humidity closer to 55-60 you’ll be glad you did

When drying your bud can you run a humidifier in the tent to keep rh at 50 -60? Or only outside tent…dont want any mold. Carbon fan running for circulation …on low…like 3. ? My lasy grow dryed way too fast …i ran fan at bottom…for couple duh…never again.

Im gonna keep a very close eye on this plant. Probably spend the morning plucking the rest of the fan leaves off. Im curious to see what the bucket of ice brought the rh up to over night.
So i dont think it needs to stay in this tent very long. But i did get a bunch trimmed down.
How long will it be ok to stay here before i trim it up and put it in my dryer tent. Currently the moisture level is 25.8%. Once i can trim it down it will go into here.
This was the low. I want to see what temp it gets up to today during the day.

Which tent? The one its in now. Or the one with the herb dryer in it?

The one it’s hanging in. My best dries were just like you have it. I’m using a Wedryer now and have to lay out single buds and they can over dry really quick

I will keep check on the moisture levels. At 15% or less its ready for groove bags correct?

I’ve put them in the bag around that % and had to crack the seal a few times. I’ve also put them in a paper bag at 15-18% to sweat down to 12-13% and put them in the G bags and the RH held perfectly at 60-62%

She has been hanging for almost 6 days. Stem moisture is down to 21.4%. Today the leaves that are left feel crumbly. The wait game is on. Tic tock

Id say she is ready. Small stems would definitely snap. The main cola stems around between 16 and 17 %. Tried a piece of the larf yesterday and it seems dry. Going to try to get it off the main stalk, trimmed down and in my cardboard box to check rh.

Right on Brother! Nice and slow, should be some killer smoke and a great terpine profile
So everything went nice on the trim down. Did seem on the dry side.
But i got it in the groove bag, and its sitting at 34% rh. Do i need to grab some wet trim from the fridge and toss in with it?

How long have the buds been in the bags? I’ve re-used some of my Gbags 3 times and the RH usually peaks out at 58-62%. Throwing in some green leaves or stems can help but I haven’t needed to add these . Nice bud by the way

Thanks yall. Im gonna pluck some fresh leaves off her still living clone. The bag is brand new, so i was kinda shocked. But they have been in the bag about an hour. The other buds i took from jar to bag stay right on 63%. However the other 2 i did was cured in a jar for a month already.

It came up quickly to 44%, i will keep an eye on it to make sure it gets back up to around 62%. Fingers crossed this flower is ok. It smells incredible though.
