I don’t understand

Hello

Ppm going out was 400 before I fertilized the next watering with 1000. Coming out was 1200. Using ffof. The next day I come in and there’s yellowing on some leaves. What gives. Ph going in was 6.6.

I’m using ff trio. I can’t catch a break. Every grow has the same thing. I can’t tell if it’s too little nutes or too much. Should I just get rid of the ff trio and use something different?
Should I use a different soil?
I’m not wanting to buy 25 pound bags as I don’t have the space at moment. Is there a better system?

If these were your plants what would you think and do with the yellowing. More nutes? Less? Flush? I’ve only fed one time as I watched the ppms come down.

The spotting and yellow happens every grow and I can figure it out with.

I can’t give any advice on any FF Nutrients or soil. For what I know with that soil your past that part. But not having the space for a lot of medium why not try out DWC/Hydro. And Advanced Nutrients pH perfect brand and line are very good…

But let me get some real help for you…

Hope some of the tagged are of more help.

DWC System doesn’t take up a lot of space

Over all plant dosent look bad and wouldnt give more nuets you want to stay around 1000 ppm as close as possible have you used any cal-mag ?

I think your color looks pretty good. I’ve seen much worse looking plants recover and produce well. If you’re looking for simplicity, Jacks and coco has been very simple and forgiving for me. The soil folk will chime in. Plant looks good though.

What was the last run off PH and PPMs and are you feeding to liberal run off with a drench to drought routine :love_you_gesture:

Yes I used call mag like 8 days ago. And I’ll be using it again next watering. I’m using the fox farm cal mag.

Yes. I wait as long as I can before watering.

Last runoff was 1200 after feeding. Before that it was 400.
Not measuring runoff ph. Just going in. Always 6.5-6.8

This is critical Growmie, when the PH is out of range it will greatly affect nutrient absorption :love_you_gesture:

They look good to me. I pluck leaves like that throughout a grow. Fans come fans go.

I’m getting 6.1 runoff ph. I’ve read salt build up could be issue.
Should I flush?
I have sledgehammer or should I flush with RO?

At 6.1 it’s not terrible and worthy of a reset flush in my opinion. Go in around 6.8 for a few rounds of feedings to get the medium PH around 6.3-6.8. Keep a drench to drought with liberal run off routine on those feed days :love_you_gesture:

Ya my calcium deficiency signs are getting worse even though I’ve watered with cal mag twice in a row. Once just cal mag and another with feeding.

I’m using fox farm and the feeding schedule says sledgehammer every 2 weeks.
Would your recommendations stay the same?

A flush is only needed to rest the PH when it’s considerably out of range or the nutrient PPMs in the medium is at or near toxic levels. You’re neither, when I grew in soil and maintained a drench to drought routine with liberal run off a flush was never needed. The liberal run off acts like a soft flush rinsing the salts that may accumulate in the medium. I still recommend what I suggested earlier :love_you_gesture:

Thanks so much

Anytime Grow Bro, keep me posted :love_you_gesture:
