So I’m 7 weeks into 12/12 switch and noticed 1 of 4 plants is definitely a boy.
Will it really make a difference if I leave it in since it’s so far along now??
It’s the one in the back right.
What do you see that makes you think it’s a boy? I’m not seeing any nanners or pollen sacs in the first pic. Just swollen calyxes with hairs.
This is a MALE plant
and this is a Hermi
hanging down pod sac will open and release pollen.
Fox in hen house., no more.
Sorry but what does that imply?
Good eye @Spiney_norman. That looks like a for sure nanner. And I didn’t mean to seem like a butt or anything! Just didn’t notice anything in the first pics. But you have a hermi that has pollinated your grow. I would check every plant very closely, both for more nanners, and seeds.
So can I let it stay in or yank it?
This is a pic of what I think I see on your plant.
The little banana things are pollen sacks.
Pollenated your plant.
Toward the bottom of the cluster
Remove that branch, and go over your whole grow and check for more. If all of you plants are producing seeds, then the deed is done and they will continue to produce seeds and pretty much shut down flower production.
Those would all be calyxes it appears. Female parts. Look for similar shapes with little yellow “banana” shaped things sticking out.
Not taking any chances and chuckin the whole thing. The other 3 appear to be ok. Definitely not like the bad guy. Thanks alot for your help! Great detective work but That was too much of a bummer for 1 day, time to burn one ![]()
