@KeystoneCops @beardless ok you guys have me freaked out about possible mold now… i am seeing white haze starting to from. I always thought that was good, but can you tell me if i am in danger here.
Those appear to be trichomes, the glands that store resin. You’re doing good.
I’m just saying you’ll want to make sure your humidity is under control, because once mold takes hold it can be too late.

I’m so nervous right now this is the furthest any of the previous grows had gotten. I think I harvested about this time the loader grow and they were not mature. Now I have a loop and can see better, but the question is what color and how dark or light and how much… that is the question now for me.

It’s common practice to wait for an approximately 50/50 ratio of cloudy to amber trichomes; however it’s normal for different parts of the plant to have different ratios. You can harvest in stages. Or you can harvest all at once and make note of how the different ratios affect you.
I like that idea, harvesting at once the first time.
@KeystoneCops which part of the plant should I be looking at the white string like tentacles or the leaves p, not sure where I am looking
You still have a lot of white pistils. I would wait until most have receded to start checking trichomes, as the buds will continue to put on weight until that happens. From there, you want to be checking the trichomes on the buds, not the leaves. Clear trichs aren’t ripened and will cause a racy high. Cloudy is ripened and the most potent, amber trichs are degrading and will cause sleepy/lethargic feeling. I typically shoot for all cloudy with a small amount of amber.

I’m doing my first grow as well. I started off with 3 plants but only one turned to be female so that’s all I have in the tent. Got my seeds in last week that are autos so now I’m just waiting to harvest this girl and get started on the autos. I’m about a week and a half into flower.

why is it looking at pot grows is like porn to me…i can look at it all day. i learn new things just by looking and reading about others. hope they blister up good for ya. my girls are still growing it looks like. the buds are weighing down the stems and i am going to have to tie the up so they don’t break.

Have you been monitoring your ph and ppm?
The ph has been pretty neutral at 7 and yes I have been watching my ppm and I have a log of it if I need to share
@KeystoneCops @beardless i hope i am not messing up, but the girls are starting lean. i franticly looked over the house for some butchers twine i have but couldn’t find it. i have a really large ziptie and i use it very loosely to hold the branches up. i had to do them in sections but boy are they getting heavy. the tricombs are still clear as of this morning. i am getting antsy ready to harvest and start the next grow. I am going to do a grow journal on it. it will be 1 single purple haze and i am going to use the things i have learned on this grow on that grow and i am confident that i will get a really nice yield. very excited.
