With a little bit of luck it will heal up. Keep it good and tight.

Ive used plumbers tape but never sticky tape. Spose it would work.

Anytime, and you are most welcome.

I wouldnt train that branch any further. if/when it heals it will be all the better for the experience.

Wrap the break with teflon tape it stretches as the plant grows

Electrical tape works fine also. Broken many myself. Once in flower lst is much more difficult. The stems harden off. Snap. When in young veg much more flexible.

I just did this yesterday when I was trimming :leaves:LOL. I have shipping tape I usually wrap it around a couple of loops.:face_with_head_bandage: One time I snapped my top bud on that case I put two toothpicks for support when I taped it. That bud kept on getting bigger and bigger and I never took it out until I harvest.
I’m sure people have grafted two plants :potted_plant:together I cannot be the only one thinking of doing this. My dad used to do this to rose :rose: bushes and wine :grapes: back in the seventies and eighties

Grafting can be pretty useful if say a grower is limited to plant count or even space but wants to keep a mother plant for cloning.
By grafting different strains onto a single root ball you have only 1 plant but multiple strains to take cutting from without taken up plant count or space…

But cannabis can be grafted fairly easily

I did the same thing a week ago and used a small piece of duct tape, it never even wilted.

Lol. I was grasping at straws, it broke my heart when it snapped. I figured it was worth a try.

It will be okay. Healthy autos don’t care, I top most of mine and have super-cropped in late flower as needed, fwiw:

I remember the commercials in the 70’s advertising the fruit trees with all the grafted branches. Producing several varieties of fruit. Never even considered what you just mentioned. BANG LIGHTBULB! I am going to friggin make me a mother now just like that. I have a 3x3 that can just hold her forever. TY @1HappyPappy . Bravo.

Here’s a picture of that little branch that I clipped and then I retaped up and made a little paper clip crutch LOL. She’s now holding on our own and maybe I will take that tape off if I can get to it without damage.

I thought about this before I even started growing tbh lol. Got 2 tents now so may end up trying it.

Doing research for this grafted mother about 3yr ago led me to this YouTube video.

One thing I will just do for mother purposes.
