I’m thinking maybe you should change the water then because she looks awful.
That’s what I was thinking. Do another water change and start over. Hopefully it’s not too late.
Make sure your root mass is not so large it is choking oxygen. Smaller DWC buckets will need larger air stones and a bigger pump (perhaps). I have had root mass encompass 60% of a vessel before and choke the plant. Looked droopy AF…
Hope she makes it
She’s in a 27 gallon tote. Root ball takes up very little space in that big tub.
and have two big air stones and a large air pump.Well shes still able to recover i think. Definitely check your airstones. Make sure you’re getting good bubbles.
Needs more air. What size pump? Check for kinked lines.
Silica can be added any time.
27 gallons is a large vessel… I would have a huge pump running … really big pump
I didn’t consider this because I’ve never been past 5g. So yeah high temps have very little oxygen in the water. Do you have anymore pumps?
Looked it up it says 7.8L/minute
No don’t have any more but can go get another.
I have that air pump x2 as well and they do work great.
800 GPH pump with a 4 valve gang switch running 4 stones. That would be better
Will do a water change and add a pump. Be back later with results. Thanks guys.
He’s got the hydroguard, posted above maybe ask, hmm how much per gallon - I use 2ml /gal. So 6ml in my 5 gallon bucket.
I use that for six stones in two buckets
120ish GPH …
You need way more air
I have two 20 gal totes with 3 of those pumps, 3 stones in each tote. Plenty of air.
My first thought would be more air and the gap between net pot and water level. Do you have about an 1.5 - 2 inches below net pot. Too much water and not enough air will make them droopy.
suggest you stick to basics…why? Lady was ok until something major changed.
you said water change yesterday…she looked good, until she started soaking up the new solution.
suggest new solution is source of issue.
Change solution, go back to what readings you had before today. Double check ph, ec and nute strength.
Good Luck…
