Girl Scout Cookies Extreme autoflowering, 20 days above soil. The plant is 4.5" tall. The spacing between the nodes is 1.25". My light is an HLG 260 QB V2 rspec turned up halfway 24" above the plant. 18/6 light cycle.
Is the node spacing too tall?
Am I missing out on vegetative growth by not having my light turned up more at this point?
I was advised not to water the plant to runoff until it got a little bigger. I watered two days ago and the soil isn’t bone dry but it is definitely not wet as far as I can get my finger down in the dirt.
Looks good and healthy, I’d be tempted to crank up the 260 a bit, a little bit more every few days but I’m a overkill kind of guy when it comes to light. I would also advise on not watering to runoff just yet as that big pot will take a long time to dry. Let the plant get a bit bigger before doing a full watering.
What will happen to the plant if it is getting too much light? What would I look for? I’m growing in a closet that is almost 4x6 and the door is open most of the time so there is quite a bit of light loss.
Too much light can cause some leaf burn and heat issues, always have some air movement between light and plant tops. And really at that small size you really don’t need any more light than you’re giving it for a while.
Looks good to me. My northern lights auto was very slow at growing. She did the same thing took her time. But now she’s almost as tall as my amnesia haze. I didn’t realize autos grew this tall. From everything I’ve read most are in the 24 inch range. They are close to 40 inches. I’ll have to measure them tonight after work.
Can anyone help. First time growing. Auto seed. Its 10 days old. Is everything ok at the moment. Photos are from today and yesterday. I did have an issue with a leaf. But all OK now
Go into Grow journal give it a name post your pictures your info and questions use @MidwestGuy ( just an example) to tag people in.@SheilaT you get the idea. There is a tag to fill out if someone can hook you up with it😎welcome

Could have stunted it cause it’s a little hot. Happy Frog might be a little more gentle for seedlings. Your soil can run upwards of 3000 ppm. Have you checked your runoff ppms or ph?
Nothing more then big bloom nutrients. Jungle grouth soil and I believe I threw some organic fertilizer in the soil . Cant remember the name. The only thing I can say is when it sprouted it had a sugar leaf almost and inch long . Maybe it’s just a monster? We shall see. I’m posting my next pic on the one month anniversary on my thread.
