5 weeks old is this stretch too much?
@MattyBear deets sir, newest grow
No but you are running low on tent space! Id look into supercropping and try to get her horizontal for a bit.
If she doesnt go full flower soon, you may have a real problem
Thanks for the tag my dude! Great looking plant! How much head space do you have left? If you’re running low, I’d do what Purp said and supercrop it or run some lst to make it more even
Head space gotcha. The distance from the top to the light was 7 inches so I bent the stem at 12” from the light, bent some fan leaves out the way but didn’t tie them down because I can’t think of any way to tie em down out the way without having a million wires everywhere and took a little bit of fan leaves from the bottom and broke a big one by accident trying to bend it too much.
Hopefully she won’t stretch too much in flower , but it looks like it will fill out nicely
Would removing fan leaves help the lower area of the plant?
The further from the light, the less intensity they will receive. That cropping will give those lowers a chance to catch up. But anything WAAAAYYYYY away from the top wont amount to very much in the long run anyway
26 days is right around the average time for autos to start flowering , mine started around 27 days they weren’t too much bigger than yours when flowering started
u
I’d leave them alone, why transplant?
Thanks. These are my first autos. Good to know some of these things are normal. I’ll post pics in 5 weeks.
Did you only LST? Or did you top too? I’m only doing LST
No I meant that I transplanted from cups to their final 3gal pots you see in the pic. I read that it’s better to start autos in their final pot and to never transplant.
I’ve made a few transplant mistakes and Autos is not the place or plant to make any. Better safe than sorry. Where did you grab your beans from?
I only did LST and it worked out great, 6 plants and filled 4ft wide x 3ft wide worked out just right for my lights, I’ll harvest 2 of them soon there are looking Very close the other 4 have a few weeks for sure, weird because they are of the same 2 strains but it works for me I can practice my dry method with the 1st 2 plants and get ahead of the game in curing, works out great as practice for the next 4
I think if you transplanted early enough you’d be OK if you waited till they started restricting root growth much due to lack of space that’s where the stunt comes in but I could be wrong just my theory lol, I went right into final pots from sprout in a paper towel
@JKDjEdi I got them from ILGM. It’s the Girl Scout Cookies Extreme auto.
These first two are my test run. I’m using a 2x4 tent, VIPARSPECTRA 600W LED, Fox Farm Ocean Forest - mixed with Natures Living Soil for autos mixed in 3 gallon fabric pots.
Once I have an understanding of how they respond to LST, average veg time, etc… I’ll plant the other three in my 4x4 tent.
I want to do the Banana Kush auto they sell next.
@Mikedin Were those Girl Scout Cookies Extreme auto or a different auto strain?
No they where 2x Hindu Kush / 3x candy kush <— those 5 are in 5 gallon fabric pots, and 1 gorilla glue in a 1 gallon plastic pot for a little test on container size to yield on autos since it’s my 1st run I’m trying to test it out.
It’s good growth for 4 days lol. I see what y’all meant about it being normal for them to start flower at this point.
