I had about 10 oz in there. It can hold up to 2 lbs but I wet trimmed one plant, then spread it out. Held steady at 68 degrees and 54 RH, 4 day dry (after hanging for 24 hours) and it automatically goes to cure after dry time is done. 4 days on the cure, we took some out a few hours early and smoked it. Great texture and firmness to the buds. No smell until you break it apart. Smooth smoke and 3 hits I was good. Well worth the price if you get a finished product like this every time.

Interesting. I will have to read up on the process. I always heard long dry times were better and that curing took 8+ weeks. New technology is great

That’s how I lost the biggest colas of my plants :smiling_face_with_tear: everything was drying fine went to open them up to start trimming and bang mold inside and yes I did cry a little

I used the factory settings and don’t see a need to adjust it to be honest. Great dry and cure.

I do it to see how much weight they lose and gauge my drying. I like to record everything. I dont have to worry anymore now, i bought the cannatrol.

Hey @Highwayman420 , i bought it!!!. Packed it full. I hope i didnt over do it. … Im on day 2. Temp on factory dry setting is fluctuating ever so slight. 67F 55dew poinr/63RH. Is ut normal to fluctuate a little? Do you use the sponge and on what day? Should i rotate the shelves daily?

can i drink the water or cook w it that comes out into the drip tray? It smells like weed and tastes interesting. Lol. I cant find an answer.

Between talking to the guys at CannCon and you folks here, you convinced me, I am going to order one. I am just waiting to see if they do a Black Friday deal. I grow a scrog in a 4 x4 tent so this will only handle about 1/4 of a harvest if I wet trim…but I have had great success with the Grove bags and will do that with the rest. I will also use for long term storage

I wish it was bigger. Im gonna stagger grows. Or dry and jar and then cure batches together. I filled it quick. I flower in an 8x10 area, this portion of the harvest was only 3 clones but i get at 12 to 24oz wet per plant…ill start planning my pulls. Maybe top half then bottom? And stagger? Idk. I cannot justify another unit. The hydro store gave me a discount on a decent light meter, so now im gadget equpped to the 9s. If i can figure out an auto feed/drip system id have beasts.

I was thinking the same thing…maybe cherry pick some buds and let the rest keep growing and just switch them out. I love technology.

So do you think i can add more bud mid cycle? The entire plant is cut and i wanna condense the drying ones to add it but its day 2 of the dry. Cqn i do that and then pull the first vatch and bag it fora day til the others are ready for a cure cycle?

I Think I read somewhere on that site that you are not supposed to add more material…but am not sure on the why.

I am curious too. I asked the guy at CannaCon for a discount code. He said they very rarely give discounts. The list price is $1,600…and if you want the front glass tinted it is an extra $45. If they do not do anything this black Friday…I will be buying at full price…unless you know a secret.
