You can lollipop and net it now, I would definitely do it before week 6 of veg so she will be ready for another trimming of lowers by week like 2 or 3 of flower. Just fill out net as best you can. I would if lollipop and net now waiting until the end of week 7 then flip to flower if you have the room for extra week veg.

The contraint to keep mind is that a plant can double in size during the first few weeks of flowering.

Happy Thanksgiving thanks

Happy Thanksgiving.

The good news is you can pick an choose if you want or need to remove any branches to maintain your vertical along with the net to keep it horizontal. Happy growing growbro.

You can flip any time but the plant won’t respond until it’s sexually mature (usually around 8 weeks).

I’m not a fan of using ‘lollipop’ for a defol in veg. A true lollipop is to strip the plant ahead of harvest, removing almost all leaves. NOT something you want to do in active growth. Remember the leaves provide the sugars needed to properly flower out plant. The only reason to lose leaves now is for the health of the plant (think mildew).

With net in place and canopy spread out not going to be a whole lot of light getting through to underneath, so kind of stripping off stuff that will be eating up energy, no

Photoperiod plants grown from seed need to be at least 2 months of age before they can flower and 3 months of age is better for flipping.

Cuttings take from sexually mature plants can be flipped and go into flower at any time but make sure the plant has a good root system and a decent set of leaves and branches.

You can install nets or screens any time and it’s a good idea to have screen of green set up well before the plant gets to the height of the screen so you can train the new growth through the screen easily.

If you plan on pruning or using a screen of green, do that at least one month before flipping the plant so it has time to recover from the pruning/ training.
