Iām more of a soilless grower but heard good things about your medium.
Starting to see small flies in my potted soil. Just wondering what others are using to get rid of them without hurting my plant.

The appearance of small flying gnats in the soil is a sign that your soil has gotten too wet and has stayed too wet. Best to let the soil dry out between waterings so that these buggies cannot survive.
You can combine this with a sprinkling of diatomaceous earth but addressing the environment is the first priority.
