ah I see. yeah I heard it’s not about how much water you give it but how frequently you give it water. I think I’m gonna germinate another couple of seeds and try this method because I really wish I knew it from the get go. Plus I just got a new grow tent and it’s all set up in my basement so I’ll give it a test run under those conditions.
Thanks again!

S#!+ happens, man. 6 out of 7 isn’t anything to be disappointed about. I’d be thrilled if I could get 6 of 7 of the seeds I’m currently working with to even germinate, much less sprout.

Thanks man, yeah I hear ya I know stuff just happens in nature. To germinate I just soaked them in a cup of water for 18 hours and left them in my hot dark garage with a box over it (it’s summer time so it’s hot as hell during the day) then tranferrered them over to a paper towel and kept it damp for 24-48 hours. Leaving them in a warm cup of water for 48-72 hours worked too, I had a 100% germination rate with both methods. I honestly though germinating was gonna be the annoying part but it was super easy, gauging the amount of water I give the soil after planting has been the hard part. I got my seeds from ILGM so it seems like the seeds here are top tier.

So you don’t want to add the water directly into the plant. You want to pour in a circle at leaf tips.
Make the plants work for it they’ll thanks you later.

Hey I just thought I would post a message to ya in hope you see it and can offer up a bit of support. I’m a beginner and currently am at the beginning of my first grow. I’m growing a Zkittles Autoflower plant in a 5 gallon pot using fox farm happy frog soils with a small amount of ocean forest at the bottom… the problem I’m having is getting a good water schedule down and how much. Up until now I have been adjusting the ph of my water then spraying with a small spray bottle at the base of the plant like twice a day. The seed was planted on December 27th so I’m a few weeks in I will post a few pics so you have a idea of where the plants are at currently. If you could offers up and advise on watering and lighting. I have a Diablo 200 currently. I would greatly appreciate it because I am feeling lees than confident in this grow. Thanks for your time it’s much appreciated
