First time grow, first time using cal mag. How much should I be using when feeding? And am I mixing this with the nutes I’m already using?
I use a teaspoon per gallon of water and yes I add it to my feeding schedule.
Thanks bro
Happy to help!
I follow the directions on the bottle for general feeding and I use it with every watering, other nutes or not.
5ml, which is 1 tsp. I use botanicare Cal-Mag
That’s for autos?
Yup. I use it for my autos & photos. Works for me anyway. Took this picture of of my autos today.
I got lots of help from people on here.
Oh yea she’s looking good, ok thanks man for the help
It really depends on what you are growing in soil or coco?
True. I myself use FFHF & FFOF
With ffof I would use it always on feed days and on some water days when I was in flower. It also doesn’t hurt anything that I know of by giving it to the plants. Yours plants are looking good!
Thanks.
I had some Cal deficiency early on, so now I always add it.
I’ve been using FFOF with FF nutes and give calmag every other watering, and every feeding, until flower. Then every watering between feeding.
Does calmag make nute burn on tips and soo on?
It can. But it’s not a bad thing if it is like tipped fingernail polish. It means it’s pulling up just about all the nutes it can handle.
Leave nutes out of ur next watering if u are nervous.
Post a picture of it.
I am growing autoflower for the first time. I would like to know when to start using calmag. My seeds are at a week .
do you use 5ml every time throughout every feeding from veg stage??
to harvest??
@NYDon FIRST TIME GROWER I have two autoflowers in 3 gallon fabric bags and I’m using Fox Farm Happy Frog and Fox Farm Ocean Forest my cotoylden leafs came out April 17 in a solo cup I’ve only been giving it ph water 6.4 May 4 is when I transplanted them into there final bags using the same soil I’m using fox farm trio nutrients but haven’t used them yet when should I start feeding it nutrients I topped one yesterday at the 5th node or can I just give it water and cal mag (The Bottom One Is Before The Top One Is After)
Use only half the amount of nutrients for Autoflowering plants, because they do not require as much nutrients as Photoperiod plants. This is enough to ensure a good grow.
Always consider your specific situation and apply nutrients accordingly.
Mix the nutrient powders in tap water at room temperature (20ºC / 68ºF) Stir well and adjust the pH value to the optimal level if needed .
Please check our guide about applying the best nutrients here.
Why use tap over RO or distilled?
