How long can you store seeds and what is the best way to store them until the next growing season ?
I keep mine in the fridge. Keep them in an airtight container…
Same. Mine are in a large aspirin bottle in the fridge.
Hi @ImBubba welcome to the neighborhood, the most important thing is humidity then light and temperature, so dry, cool, and dark. I keep mine in a Tupperware container in my bedroom closet
Fridge in a light proof container (large mylar bag works well) with a silica pack.
Long term storage is in the freezer.
I keep mine in pill bottles in the garage. Maybe I should put them in beer fridge
Thanks, the mason jar in the crisper was what I was thinking. Just needed your suggestion’s.
You want something more light proof.
Whats considered “Long term”? …and If you have different strains how do you guys suggest to keep them separated what type of material? Small bags? I know there’s an article on ILGM`s pages but too lazy too seek it out

These are great for looooong term storage. Still keep in cool place. I even seal them with a bag sealer,no vaccum needed.
I would always worry about my garden seeds. I would buy 5 lbs at a time to get cost down. Then I thought I had to very work at storing them. Man they stay up stairs in clear plastic zip bags. 6+ years old and still get great germ from them. Moral of the story, they are not going to become duds as easy as ya think. Cool, dark and air tight will buy you a couple of years🤘
Welcome to the community , store my seeds in the fridge. Also I leave them in the packaging I received the seeds in. Use as needed.
Missed that🙃
