How long before harvesting should I stop watering?
When I know the day I plan to harvest, I do not water for 3-4 days prior. I feed and water up to this point.
Thanks! It’s my second grow. MUCH better than the first. Learning as I go. Best hobby ever!
You said it. Here are pics from the same strain. Godfather OG from ILGM. First grow had sub par equipment. Both plants are at 11 weeks in the pics.
1st Grow
2nd Grow
Such a great addition to the seed bank. I am glad I have 8 more to grow. Similar to what I smoked when younger. I have found a few but sure do miss some of those ol skool strains.
@Dexterado yours is growing like my first after it got going which is why on the 2nd, i went for missiles since I saw that to be the natural way she developed. Here she is at the end with 6 mains and some popcorn.
Do you also do 3 days of dark or any other stress method at the same time? I’m trying to hit “season change” super hard and light/water are big indicators for cannabaceae.
Nope. I grow per standard practices. Photos in soil. Good/great lighting. Veg for yield and flip at 12 weeks ish. Run lights at 24/7 for the first 3 weeks, switch to 18/6 for veg and 12/12 when I flip to flower. Feed and water as needed based on pH/ppm’s. Only check if I see issues. Feed and water right up to the chop. Do not add water the 3 days prior to the chop. No dark period or flushing. No ice baths, The last 3 weeks I drop humidity to 35-40% and the temps as close to 65°F as I can get.
Here are different plants at the flip.
