OK. Nice pic. Super helpful. Thanks. I’m definitely not overwatering. And thanks for those wonderful charts. It would be totally awesome if those charts also discussed over/underwatering. I feel like I’m finally getting somewhere. Now, I just have to locate a reputable seed source. Any suggestions?
I have never used it but there are people on here that use the whole line up and grow awesome buds.
I now use Advanced Nutrients, (AN) Micro - Grow - Bloom - B-52, Rhino skin, Voodoo Juice and Cali Magic with some Mykos and Azos occasionally.
This place sells seeds. Just click on the seed shop at the top. They usually have deals, have new offerings right now and a code to get % off. They also have a germing guarantee. As long as you follow their guidelines, if they do not germ, reach out and they will make it right.
Can I pay you for this tip?
Thanks.
Yes, by growing some awesome bud, Bud!
Cool! I grew up in North Dakota. I’m a deep earth soil man!
Over feeding… with fox farms soil it has enough food for 4-6weeks
Seems a lot of folks here are not fans of the Fox Farm soils when planting autoflower seeds. I am going to start over. I will leave Fox Farm in the rearview. What soil should I be using when I plant seeds? Many say the Fox Farm soils are “hot”, which sounds weird to me, but I want to get this correct.
FoxFarms is good cannabis friendly soil. Typically when you see a ref to Hot soil and FF it is the Ocean Forest as it is loaded with nutes. Happy Frog on the other hand is more mild and will not burn up a germing seedling.
They also have a soil just for seedlings called Light Warrior.
I have used FF Ocean Forest and FF Trio with excellent results.
I now use Roots Organic Original with Roots Organic Dry with equally excellent results.
It is all about adjusting to whatever choice you make. The excellent growers here will guide you to success.
But what if I re-use soil after a plant dies?
Is it any good? Should I be using it?
Is that soil, or is that fertilizer?
Sorry to be unclear. Roots Organic Original Soil, Roots Organic Dry nutrient line.
Well, at this juncture, that kind of seems like a bridge too far…
Where are these available?
I purchase in a town 50 miles away. They are available online and in stores around the country.
Just another option.
If you follow the guidance of @Bonjoyle, you could have awesome buds hanging to dry in 4 months.
This was my first grow indoors using new tech. I am old by the way so I started growing back in the early 80’s.
First grow while still researching and learning new things
That was 11 weeks.
Here is a more recent grow at 11 weeks with new stuff
Same strain from ILGM, Godfather OG Photoperiod
Once the light bulb goes on above your head, it all seems quite simple. And I still have issues from time to time. Lately it seems like everything I touch, I either kill or stunt. I do this for me, my own smoke grown by me with no chemicals or after harvest sprays or prematurely harvested weed from the dispos. Helps to calm me and relieves stress.
