Easiest way to do a thread is to start with the basics.

A bit of information.

Seeds: kind/auto,photo
Plant age: date sprouted
Environment: indoor/out door size of area
Lights: brand power
Water: tap,ro, distilled well.
Medium, soil, coco DWC ECT
Temp/humidity
CO2
Exhaust system/size
Any osculating fans?

Answering the above questions will give anyone trying to help an initial idea of how to start troubleshooting.

Now after this if you have any questions just ask them in here and someone will be along with the answer or ideas to help.

Also once your a little bit accumulated to the server you can tag ppl by using the “@” symbol example @DanB if you notice it has highlighted the name and will notify the user of the tag.

I’m just trying to figure out why may plants all die beyween 6 and 8 weeks.

Well tell us more about ur grow

At that age it’s usually root rot or being sun burnt, but more information about them is required to give a more accurate answer.

What symptoms do they develop/ show?
How often are you watering and fertilizing them?
What do you fertilize them with?
What are they growing in?
Are you transplanting them around that time?
Any other info you can provide will also help, as will pictures.

6-8 weeks huh? Without more info as said, I would think you are in soil, and after about 4-6 weeks depending on the soil, you have to start feeding them. So without any other info, I would think maybe you are not feeding them and they have completely stripped the soil of NPK and are starving to death.

Give us more info and we will help.

Symptoms: They shrivel up and 6 weeks and are dead at 8 weeks.
Nutes start 10 days after sprout, mixed at 25% of label (Fox Farm)
Soil: Happy Frog and Ocean Foest. Identical results.
Watering: I have tried daily and weekly. Same result.
Env: 6.5pH maintained throughout.

What’s an NPK? Where do I get one?

NPK stands for nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). It is the main nutrients the all plants need to live off of and survive. If you haven’t been feeding them nutes past 6 to 8 weeks then you are

The FF soils you mentioned are mixed hot with nutes and is good for about 4 to 5 weeks. You don’t want to give them any additional nutes in that time or it will be too much. And water liberally and not up close to the stem, water in a ring out aways from the stalk to make the roots search out the moisture and grow big and strong.

Seeds: Blue Cheese auto, OG Kush feminized, White Widow feminized,
Fat Banana auto, Royal Gorilla auto, Orion F1 auto, Northern Light auto, Diesel auto, Royal Bluematic auto

Sprouting: Typically 5 to 8 days after planting.

Env: I am growing both indoors and outdoors, looking for success

Light: Natural sun (outdoor). Spider Farmer LED (indoor)

Water: RO with a perfect 6.5 pH

Medium: Happy Frog soil and Ocean Forest. Identical results.

Temp: 77 degrees by day. 66 degrees by night.

CO2: Yes, there is CO2 in AZ.

Exhaust: Not necessary. No smell.

Fans: Yes. Oscillating

The large plant is at 4 weeks. The shrivled plant is at 6 weeks.

Where am I screwing the pooch here, do you think?

I have heard of that ring watering technique before. Is there actually something to that?

One more question about watering in a ring, if I may. Does that apply to the new sprouts, too, or are we ok with watering near the stem of a new sprout? My apologies if I’m getting pedantic here.

You should not water cannabis directly at the stem because it can lead to water accumulating at the base of the plant, potentially causing root rot by creating a soggy environment that deprives the roots of necessary oxygen, ultimately harming the plant’s health and potentially killing it; the best practice is to water the soil around the base of the plant, allowing the roots to actively seek out moisture.

You should never water at the stem regardless of age. When very young they can damp off. That means they are starved of O2 and the stem will start to die at the soil level and fall over.

I would figure out your process before planting multiple plants and losing them all. Are you moving them in and out? They need a pretty constant and consistent enviro to flourish.

Oh, this plant loss has been going on for two years. It’s not like I lost 75 plants all at once. It has taken almost two years to get to this record! That’s why I went to the G machine and found this forum. Gotta love the G machine!

We can help. So many good growers here and I was using the same exact soil you are and RO water.
