How Do I Give Somebody A 'Solved' Or Other Honor?

So how does a person give someone a ‘Top Answer’ or ‘Solved’ or any other sort of recognition for other members to see? Short of just saying 1000 Thank You’s? I know I can be hard to deal with at times, yes it’s true, and there are several members that have put up with me and really gone above and beyond to help me, despite me being me and I’d kinda like give them more than my thanks.

So thanks!

As far as I can tell, you have a long way to go to compete with me for PITA champ. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :slightly_smiling_face:

Edit: I couldn’t find it anywhere, I found mention of a tutorial, but couldn’t find it either. I dunno…

The tutorial and some other features were deleted years ago. They are still mentioned in a few places but they do not exist.
Long time members don’t mind questions. Its why we are here. So we don’t consider repeated and multiple questions as annoying in any way. Its why I log in at this point. I learned how to grow here so now I try to give back where I can. Don’t want any special recognition, Just seeing a problem solved is thanks enough.

As @Spiney_norman says, it’s satisfying to know you assisted in someone’s success.

The best thing would be to do a follow up post, tag those who helped, and share the success.

Well alright then. I just Happen to see all that stuff listed under peoples pics on their profiles. Some people had awards and some didn’t. I think a Best Answer would be cool. Like they have on Google and Windows sites. But that’s just me. I am one who pats people on their backs, tell someone when they do well. Hell, we had severe storms several weeks ago and I had to turn around 5x all within a mile of my home just to get home. Next morning you could hardly tell a storm came through. You bet I damn sure did call the Mayors Office and gave the Street Department a “YAY YOU GUYS! GREAT JOB!” But that’s just me. That’s what I do. Try to make people feel worthy.
