I agree @Meloco1980. It is laid back, friendly, and pretty non-judgmental. I am disgusted with a lot of social platforms that tolerate/encourage/bring out drama and trauma, but the mods here keep everyone honest. And the best thing is…we all have the same goal and motivation. Growing better herb, and helping others do the same

It, unfortunately, does. It’s mostly members that come from other sites and bring that forums toxicness with them. Folks that started here usually stay here. Others migrate here because of the nastiness on other sites.
Whatever reason peeps are here, they will find this community is different.

I found ILGM while researching how to grow cannabis. I have chronic insomnia and needed to provide my own medicine as the cost at dispensaries is outrageous.I found a wealth of knowledge and great people,too many to mention.3 years later I have become what I consider a real grower.I have more weed than I know what to do with and really enjoy this hobby.It’s still illegal here unfortunately so I can’t give it away,my friends have loose lips and it’s a small town.I really appreciate all the help I got from everyone.

I found ILGM just after I started growing because I really wanted to try MK Ultra and they were the only site that had it in stock at the time. I ended up getting a mix pack with the MK, Gorilla Glue, and Blue Dream, and I’ve enjoyed growing ILGM plants ever since. After trying tons of different breeders, I pretty much stick with nothing but ILGM and Mephisto now. I’m sure there are other great seeds out there, but ILGM and Mephisto both have awesome genetics and customer service!

Like many others i found this site thru google just doing research before getting into a grow and this was listed as one of the top 5 for online orders within the US. Before i was learning from friends and the help was very controversial and moreso their way to grow so once i started learning more it opened my eyes to all the different ways to grow and i started forming my own method. Ive been here for almost 2 years or so now and loved every moment of it. Everyone in this community is very helpful and ive never ran into a question someone couldnt give me a confident answer on. I havent been on other forums to compare but i really enjoy my time on here, watching others progress, learning new things, and passing along what i know to see others succeed. Yall are great and its awesome to see a community come together in unison to help others out so we can all grow the best of the best and continue to pay it forward to the new members

@Cap_Ron that’s hilarious that is the exact reason I bought from ILGM too. MK Ultra I bought the same Heavy Hitters Mix!!! I’ve had everything come up but the MK Ultra!!! So far every GG, BD and I bought the Gold Leaf too and every bean has popped except for the MK all 5 were duds. I was so disappointed but I’m enjoying growing the others. I will still buy from ILGM bad things happen to good people everyday 
hope that MK was some superb smoke!!!

@Fatz1973, the mix pack isn’t the only coincidence I see here, I was also born in 73, lol. Have you notified customer service about the MK Ultras that didn’t sprout? They have a germination guarantee, and they’ll replace those seeds for you.
I really miss that MK Ultra. I switched to growing autos several years ago now, and as of yet I haven’t found it in an auto version.

@Cap_Ron right on ‘73 yeah I’ve dealt with plants most of my adult life and just figured you win some you lose some. They do have a great return policy here at ILGM but they probably get screwed over by so many unscrupulous people for free seeds I didn’t bother. Every GG BD GL and the Wedding Cake autos I bought have become a plant for me. Gotta keep moving forward.

I learned about the forum / ILGM when visiting a friend that grows. @Skydiver. I asked lots of questions and one of them was…how did you learn all this stuff? He turned me onto this site. I eventually decided to start growing too and dropped my first seeds from ILGM (Pure Indica, Bubba Kush, and Grandaddy Purple) in late 2021…I was hooked. Next grow I got seeds elsewhere with a gift certificate from my light…out of 4 plants two turned out to be male! I am in the middle of harvest back to ILGM seed - This time Gold Leaf, Amnesia Haze, and Chocolope. All came out great and this will be my first harvest with more than 2 pounds from a 4x4 tent. I learn alot by lurking on other’s posts…but will ask when I am confused…thanks to all that have helped!
