I stumbled across ILGM while growing my first real plant. I learned so much and everyone was patient and kind.
I’m still here but work has me pretty busy which is why this year my grow was titled ‘no fuss grow if 2022).

Same here! Well not injured, he went away, gave me a tent and an LED neither of which I had much experience or knowledge about. I knew I needed a deep pool of knowledge and experiences that you just cant get from yt vids.
So I googled and found myself often reading threads on here and I joined. When time comes to buy seeds I’m going to the best support network in the world, ILGM!

Thats so awesome to hear bc mostly everything I’ve learned has come from you tube and forums. I wish i had found ILGM sooner. I really like this site.

It’s unbelievable how much there is to learn here if you care to. Equally impressive is how willing to share everyone is regarding the YEARS of experience, experimentation, and learning to grow these plants.
I don’t participate as much as many, but I’m trying to pay back what I’ve taken

I began growing indoors again last winter after a more than decade hiatus. I had a bag full of seeds I had collected from my best bud purchases that a little gem popped out of. Bought my setup started my seeds and was completely freaked when I thought I was growing hermaphrodites. Threw away all my bag seeds grew three beautiful girls and then realized I had no seeds to continue. I was searching for ways to increase my trichome production and found a thread from ILGM talking about Robert Bergman’s stalk splitting technique to trick the plant into a pest infestation response. Searched ILGM found they were the number 1 trusted site for purchasing guaranteed seeds with awesome customer service. The rest has been a no-brainer. The forum is either more than they expected when they founded it or it is exactly what they wanted because it is extremely successful. Haven’t heard or read one bad word about this forum. The seeds, I had 5 MK Ultra that never popped but everything else has been on point eh you can’t make everyone happy everyday and some people are just curmudgeons.

So I stumbled across this site on accident. Since I have met a ton of people who do what I do on the DL or even legal. It’s so cool that people share and are not stingy all the family here is so helpful with different grow techniques and just pain Jane help. It’s neat 
. When people throw their input on grows it helps to grow not only the plant but as a grower.

The day after the election when the legal rec ballot measure passed, I began searching online for how to get started growing. ILGM popped up pretty quickly, and then I saw the Pot4Pot kits advertised, which is what I started with.

We selected to do a 5 gal pot4pot also, almost 5 footer and loaded with tight nugz. 2 others in straight coco loaded.
We set the bar real low for the first time. Somewhere, the bar got raised.

I found ilgm by trying to seek out autoflower seeds. Wife dropped 3 bag seeds and I got to reading about growing them never done it before lol so I was reading came across so other forum was reading then I seen a post about autoflower seeds so I clicked it to see what autoflower seeds were. Welp bad mistake because it’s been 2 years of seeking out autoflower seeds lol. I found some but still prefer the regs or fems over the auto but that’s my loop hole to get in here.

I was considering growing in 2019 so started doing research as to how to start and where to get seeds and ILGM kept coming up as a reputable company with a very good germination guarantee. I placed an order and got my seeds and around that time the whole Covid lockdown nonsense started so I figured what better time to start. Been growing since March 2020 thanks to ILGM and all the great people on this forum. I recommend this forum to anyone having issues, there are other good forums out there but as far as real time advice this one is my go to.

desperation brought me here. A bad homemade soil concoction of mine was killing all my seedlings. sadly It was the last thing I tried to change so I was convinced growing weed had to be in the top 3 hardest things in the world to do. The laid bavk friendly and knowledgeable community has keep me here. I usually get grilled for my grammar on forums here no one seems to care that I cant write or spell correctly. Its pretty awesome!
