Got a little girl I didn’t have the heart to kill off for an indoor grow so I left it in a small pot outside but it’s getting like 53-59 degrees outside! Mid 70s during the day. Probably has 5 more weeks to go till harvest. Any chance??
Just an experiment anyways.
I moved plants at -20 once.
20 feet moved between residences.
Day later, all leaves fell off.
Cold is not as bad as cold with moisture.
PNW dampness becomes an issue from Oct thru May, in my location.
Do you plant to harvest or indoor grow to completion?
Plants can withstand quite alittle bit. If they are healthy!! Last night we hit 37.
Come the end of flower our garden will get dusted with snow once or twice. I immediately get the snow blower and blow off all the plants. I live in a very dry environment so we don’t experience any of bud rot while on the plants.
But in all reality they don’t Ike anything much less then 55.
I’ll probably try to let it finish outside, last time I brought one inside after being outside a month I get mite infestation that took awhile to get rid of so I don’t wanna go through that again!
Unless I find someone to foster her
Most mj plants can handle low 40’s high 30’s without any damage. The low was 43 in my greenhouse early yesterday morning they didn’t seem to care one bit.
@kaptain3d I think you may have a pic of “how cold” can the girls handle. Lol
I believe @AfgVet was refering to this nice GCP by SunkenTreasureSeeds…
She lost most of her leaves following a week of crappy weather at nights. 33° F temperatures and sleet and rain…
Here she is mid-summer:
And a couple of weeks before harvest:
As long as the roots stay “warm”, you should be good…
I would save the sea bird guano for flowering.
Plants can handle a lot when it comes to extreme temperatures.
