Chop chop.
Here hang the Old School Blues and the Ripley’s OG. Decent haul for sure, I’ll update the weigh-in in a couple of weeks.
I left the Tropicana Cookies in to enjoy some darkness(what a horrible thing to do if you think about it, alone in the dark watching your dead friends hanging above you) before chopping her. I would’ve liked to let her mature more but no space in the big tent…
I took some popcorn buds from the OSB and put them in the freezer. I will try to wash some product when I have enoughh and make temple balls! I had 200g of kief collected and I made 10g and 5g balls, pretty ok but difficult to keep it from crumbling. I suppose the quality of the material was the issue. Washing fresh frozen should solve that right? Also this will be my solution to the outdoor grow, lots of material to freeze instead of trying to trim all the fluffier stuff!
Always nice to learn new things..

And here are the remaining plants. All the fastbuds faded too early for my taste, I think there was a PH bump that locked out the N. That’s my guess anyways. They are on the right.

@Dennis62 @kaptain3d Thank you my friends! We will see how is it going to go with the others, Spannabis is on in two weeks and I might be a week off again. That would very likely be just in the harvest window for most of these.
If I “have” to go to Spain, then it would probably be better to harvest before the trip even if it would be a bit early or what do you think? Is it risky to leave them alone for a week so close to the finish line?

Hey brother I am sorry you might have to harvest early, that’s not advisable from what I have heard, headache weed? I really don’t know. But I would go longer if possible, if you can’t get someone to come water for you once, I would put each in a tote or something you could put a gallon or two of water, then put the cloth bags in like putting them in a bottom watering system like autopot system, plants should drink excess water in the first couple days, and damp soil should get you through the rest of the week.
But that is all I can advise and I am not sure that will work lol, but common sense tells me it should work brother.
Hopefully you are having a great weekend my friend, holler at ya later man
keep us posted on what you decide bro

@Dennis62 thanks brother, i do have them on the Autopot trays, and the reservoir will last for a week especially in the final days when the plants are not drinking so heavily anymore.
I guess I’m more worried about mold and the rising of the Ph in the reservoir. Maybe the Ph is not a biggie in the last week but mold would surely be a bummer.

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about Ph this late in the grow, I always worry about dead sugar leafs getting mold to the bud especially during late flower, but try to keep humidity down, lots of airflow on the canopies, I use one fan for each plant
lol
I forgot you were on autopot system, that’s fantastic

I have three clip fans at the moment and the Rh has been around 65% the whole time. The Tray2grow makes the humidity higher than I have used to with the pots being constantly moist and the plants transpiring more.
So far no mold though, maybe 65% is still ok with some airflow. I have a dehumidifier in the lung room and I keep the tent a oittle open durinh lights on which also helps a bit.

Hey brother yes trays raise humidity but it sounds like you are doing all you can, I don’t have to worry about a dehumidifier here in the desert dry air, 65% is close to where you need to be, 60 or lower would be optimal during late flower, but as long as you keep the fans on you should be safe
hopefully you have a great Monday my friend

I run autopots sometimes when I only have 4 plants (handwater when I cram 8 or 12 in the 4x4!) and I’ve had humidity up in the high 80’s during flowering. As long as there is airflow between the branches, no touching leaves etc, I managed to get thru with no mold issues. I have a 16" fan strapped to the top corner of my tent and multiple clip on fans around the bottom. Turn your exhaust fan up to facilitate the air exchange. Not ideal, but sometimes those are the environments we have to deal with. Even now, my tent is around 70% and getting into the 80’s temp wise, so last night at lights out I quickly moved my driver from inside to outside the tent…winter is over here, things are warming up without the added heat from it.
But the more airflow the better, add some more fans around the bottom pointing slightly up to move that moist air towards your exhaust is what I’d recommend. Don’t wat them blowing on the plants, but keep that air moving, should be fine.

Thanks for you input @Spudgunner , appreciate it!
Now when the other tent is for drying, I took one more fan to help the flower tent.
The plants are not super leafy anymore so the air moves through the canopy pretty well now.
It’s a waiting game now, hopefully in a couple of weeks I get to chop most of them.

Harvest update:
Old School Blues yielded a whopping 220g of trimmed buds + lowers which went to freezer to wait for my new ice washing machine to arrive in the mail. The buds were not super dense but I suppose that’s partly because of the Sativa heritage.
Ripley’s OG was way smaller but the buds are hard like rocks. The yield was 134g of super frosty buds and no larf.
The rest of the girls will stay under the lights until I return from Spannabis.
