I’ve never had to use carbon filters before, but now I have to. Do you run the fañ 24/7¿ How long do they last and how well do they work? Won’t be long before I’ll have to use it. Mine is a little loud.

ive had mine for over a year now, ac infinity 6in carbon filter, i cant smell it unless i open the tent. my hasnt stopped running since i got it last year. November 2021. only thing i had to do is wash the sock that goes over it

I thought you only use it for smell control during flower.

plants smell a couple weeks of growing, thats my experience.

The better quality filters last longer and are better at smell control in my experience they last about a year. I got my last filter from AC Infinity working well so far

Your inline fan/filter act as oder, temperature and even humidity control. The filter is primarliy for odor. You can either attach it in the tent or outside. Most attach the whole fan/filter outside to make space, but it needs to be at the end of the line. Ac Infinity is coming out with great systems. They can all be controlled thru wireless connections, but can be a little more expensive than brands like Spider Farmer or Mars Hydro. I have a Mars Hydro 6" in my space with an auto ripening up. I can’t smell a thing unless I open the door.

I can whole heartedly recomend ac infinity filters!! Have used the same 6" filter for 4 grows in a row with excellent results. The other brands ive used only worked for 1 grow.

I couldn’t tell ya. I have Mars Hydro 6". Pretty quiet, the fan speed knob has a like 10ft cord, which I really like. My grow is in a closet, with the hose ported to the fan/filter in an adjacent closet. My stuff is somewhat stealthy lol.

depends what speed its on, mines on max in the bedroom, i can hear it but its not bad, i sleep to it.

Its not as loud as i would think! I believe the bearings must be of superior quality ( like the rest of the build) as its is much quieter than a Vivosun 4 inch i use as a forced intake. Cant hear the infinity over the vivosun.
