So my girls are almost done and im not really worried about them at this point. I have really no choice but to keep them watered and see how they turn out. That being said this is my first run and my ppm is almost always higher than the recommendation. Now idk if when i flush im not flushing out enough or what. They grew good they look and smell good so why is my ppm always so high? I start on mostly organic nutes for flower and i know that spiked it but I was hoping someone had some insight for me so i can get better next run.
Got some pictures ![]()
If they look good then its no problem ![]()
Organic ppms can be wildly higher then synthetics without any negative impact.
It’s very possible you just did a really good job with the Organic grow and there’s just alot of microbial action going on constantly adding to the usable nutrients…
It is a good idea to monitor ppm, but if there seems to be no ill effects, then theres nothing to fix.
As far as getting them down, that’s easy.
Just put low ppm water through it till its down.
A “proper” media flush can take up to 3x tje media volume in water.
That means if the pot is 3gal then thats 9gal of water poured through it ir a 5gal pot could take 15gal of water…

Purple trichomes too never wudda guessed
Shoot you’ve done a fine job ![]()
Whatsa beef chief. Paps right you did a fine job and I agree on the ppm and you dont need to harvest from depleted soil.
Grow looks great
Flushing is throwing money and nutrients down the drain and your time unless you’re growing with petroleum based fertilizer as that path you need to do those things.
Unless there is a problem that needs worked out when growing organic that’s all flushing does is waste your money.
At this stage I would be adding organic nutrients to the top and scratching it in getting the soil ready for the next run.
A living soil will usually work out all the details for you.
I echo what the others have said about organics. I’d like to add that she would have benefited from a langbienite amd compost topdress 2 weeks befoere the flip to flower and 2 weeks post flip. Just a little potassium deficiency. She looks great, nice work ![]()
