High PPM kill biome?

I’ve seen a few mentions that using 1000 PPM solution will kill off a lot of the biome. Thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance for input.

Peace. :dolphin:

My understanding is that synthetic nutrients will kill them. 8 switched to organic nutrients, and I’ll never go back. Way better smelling, and tasting buds.

I’ve heard 1000PPM+ can knock them back but they rebound in hours so if it’s not a total Wipeout I should be ok to nute strongly. I hope.

I’ve read quite a bit of stuff saying a plant can’t tell, nor does it care, if the molecules it’s pulling into it are from organic or chemical based origins. Molocules are molocules some say. In that vein if the proper molocules are available to be sucked up there should be no difference in the plant’s end result.

I’m pretty sure you’d disagree with that statement, yes?

Would you kindly explain to me why and how organic gardening would produce a different result all available molocules being the same.

I don’t disagree with you but don’t have the knowledge to say with confidence my belief. Would you help me understand?

Thanks in advance for the time.

Well, unfortunately I’m no scientist, but I grew with synthetic nutrients for years, and had good results, but they’re expensive, and kind of a hassle to use, so I decided to try organics due to a recommendation from my local shop. My observation has been way denser buds, way less money, way less labor, and way better smelling and tasting buds (I don’t smoke but my wife says there’s no comparison). Not to mention organics are not near as dependent on perfectly ph’d water. I use my well water which is 7.5, and the runoff is always around 6.5. Here are some pics of my last plant.

Definitely helpful. The same Genetics through both methods?

Any other changes you made?

I made some notes when I started my method. Here they are, so you can take it or leave it. I always grow indica dominant strains. That last one I posted was gelato, and it was the first time I grew it.
When seedling is as wide as the cup, transplant into pot of happy frog mixed with perlite, worm castings, a little blood and bone meal, and fox farm fruit and flower 4-9-3 per the instructions on the package. Then top dress with the fruit and flower after 6 weeks, then once a month after that. I use a little kelp me kelp you during veg. I also use recharge occasionally to keep the microbes healthy.

Sweet, complete, concise. Thanks. Sounds very healthy. I’d venture to say genetics are a change of note. Definitely better from the pollution angle. I do believe the plant and the finished product are indifferent to the molecule source, just that there are enough molecules. Thanks for that tutorial and stay well. Peace :v: and Good Health.
