High latitude auto test

I tried outside but within a week something was ate them. Smh I’ve never been successful in growing outside. I grow some nice plants in bubblers though. So easy it’s boring. Happy growing

I’ve started using insects frass soil drench and goats milk as foilar application as a pesticides working great , a few grasshopper her and there’s but no infestation

I bought the Persian mixed pack so I’ve got Afghan. I just wasn’t sure it would yield more than something else. Like most space is limited. If you know, about how long a veg to get a 6-8oz per plant yield on the Afghan and the northern lights? I’m gonna have plenty of hybrid and no stash is complete without a heavy hitter. Variety is the spice of life. Happy growing

I’m definitely gonna work on my outside growing skills as I own several acres in the country. My closest neighbors are a 1/2 mile away so I don’t have to worry about the thieves getting me like my friends. I’ll probably start in March as it’s too late in the year to grow anything outside now.

That’s sound like a great growing spot, most def, it’s flowering time

Sorry, I grew outdoors. The Afghani was done quick. Less than 2 months of flower, closer to 45 days for some phenos.

Our soil if you can call it that is major acidic and rocky as it gets. In one scoop you are banging on a deposit of lime then basalt, zinc or some other kind of crazy rock associated with volcanoes or tectonic shifting from the earths crust to the surface. Things that naturally grow here in what we call muskeg are strawberries and potatoes. In the forest area the trees get massive but that’s a problem because of the lack of light. It’s could be 80° and sunny and take a walk into the trees and it’s 58° wet and dark. Mushrooms do good though lol.

Understandable, our soil is clayish, but with the right amendments is doable, :+1:

I tried growing in our soil many years ago and they would get a few inches then die. I bought some soil at Lowe’s at the beginning of the year, put it in a hole I had removed the dirt from, and the critters ate good. I’m gonna germinate a few Afghan and veg them until they are about a foot and a half then flip the light to 12/12.
My wwa have been flowering since about 6/10 and 6/13 and I have a little cloudy in one the others are still clear. They are dragging. Maybe another week or two. Full moon is on 15th maybe it will help

@Stonedagain2, depending on where you live, you can grow autos outdoors still. I’m doing 1 Blueberry Auto and 1 GSCX auto, going into grow bags the 15th and will be ready in November.

I’m new to the auto growing. Idk if I like not being able to control when they flower and not being able to clone. I’ve got a wwa that has a awesome phenotype. It’s gonna yield more than a pound. I’d grow one every grow but I can’t get a clone from it. The other 2 wwa growing with it both have different phenotypes. They are nice but I wouldn’t grow them again. I’ve got probably 10 more seeds but who knows what phenotypes I have. Like I said I like a little more control than I have growing autos.
