Hermie What to do

When a plant goes Shim (Hermie) on you can I just cut that branch off and continue on or play it safe and take it out completely. I have had a string of Hermie’s but I thought it was because of my messing with them all the time (Stress). Anyways this is plant is like split it has to leads one started showing signs of Nards. So this morning it has started showing Nards. I searched the topics so I thought I would ask the great group for input.

Unless you are using colloidal silver the whole plant is hermie (or just a straight up male.) It looks like a boy plant.

You will want to keep it away from any other plants you might have. Bag it and throw it in the garbage.

Looks like pistils and nuts here

Babysitting the herm maybe worth more effort then its worth. Especially this early into flower and with other plants in the room. Id definitely pull it before any pollen spews. N look for why she hermd. Light leaks? Too rough with the training? PH/nutrient imbalance. Environmental difficulties…

@Bunger64,

How is your pot space? Could it be running tight in the soil. Classic pots, grow bags? Reason I ask is I have found root binding is a great way to force rodelize a clone for selfing. It works almost as good as messing with the light when I want to do it on purpose to make seeds.

I’m not sure I have been using the same 14qt planters from the start I had some 3 gallon cloth but I didn’t like the way the roots stayed in the bag after being washed. The planters also have a watering spout on the bottom so when I water I go until the water is just about to come out of the spout and I can just water there also. I’m not really trying to experiment this just seems to happen to me. I believe it’s stress and I need to figure it out. I’m just glad it is only 1 this time

I’m going to add this to my post I do want to thank everyone for the input and support, I have taken it out and like a few might have mentioned the Shim died peacefully. I think this is the greatest thing. (Form)
