Well i hope everyone had a good winter. I am back. Im starting a bit earlier this year. Had great success with my grow last year with all of your help. I had Gorilla Glue, Alien OG, and Amnesia Haze. Have tons of it left over so this year I wanted to go with taste over thc. Picked up Gelato, Sunset Sherbert, and Zkittles on top of doing some more Alien OG because that stuff was straight out of this world. Am going to compare results between Bergmans Plant food and the Reefertilizer that I loved using last year. Picked up mycorrhizal fungi and some persephones palate that I was persuaded to try instead of molasses. Ill be using the FFOF soil from last year and hopefully have flushed enough to not kill new plants with added nutrients in seedling through flower. Im still very inexperienced on growing so would love any input along the journey. Such as recommendations of important ammendments and techniques. Thanks all and happy growing.
Good luck this year!
Good luck with your grow and welcome back.
Good luck and happy growing!
Anyone good at reusing soil. I have 120 gallons of ffof used 1 season that id prefer not to repurchase.
I used heavy synthetic nutrients last year for flower and never flushed the dirt.
I now have a 10 year supply of synthetic nutrients and have picked up a few ammendments that im not sure how to actually use.
So i guess my first step is to flush all the dirt and dry it out and add all the perlite but what do I do from there?
Well I have flushed the dirt and added perlite.
Spent about six hours sifting all of the roots from last year out of the dirt. I figured those would get in the way and now I have significantly less dirt than I thought. Filled a 20 gallon container with all of the roots.
Now I guess ill add the compost tea and hygrozyme to the soil and try to rebuild an ecosystem
Still not sure how any of them work
Wondering if I should mix the mycorrhizal into the dirt or just add it to the plant roots when transplanting or if it even matters as i have read synthetic fertilizer derstroys the mycorrhizal.
I may be overthinking this whole thing
Any advice?
Alright well these plants are taking off in the grow room. Have been mixing all the products once a week and feeding every liter of water with 2 ml of the nourish, 1.5 ml of the hygrozyme, and a quarter teaspoon of the recharge.
Have put 4 outside in 20 gallon pots although I dont have enough soil so I can only do 15 gallons a piece
I am wondering if cannabis requires deeper or wider roots because this gives a lot more width than depth.
Im thinking I am going to try topping for the first time but will need to do some research as I dont know if they are ready for it yet.
Transplanting to a pot thats too big seems to be an important thing not to do
I put 4 in 20 gallons and 4 in 2 gallons and heres the difference
Survived the heatwave and these babies keep taking off,
tallest one being 46 inches and has had 2 inches of growth a day for the last few days.
Not sure how big these will end up getting.
I do know that this is significantly better than my first grow last year.
Off to a great start. Things are looking mighty nice.
