Here we go first auto indoor grow

Yes! Make sure it has plenty of cfms. You get what you pay for. The $60 ones wont cut it.

I had an amazing first experience with them. This first grow is with their seeds.

I was going to purchase some ilgm seeds but these were the ones I have for now so I am going to give them a shot. I did some research and found that seedsman are pretty reliable too. I know here I am on ilgm forum not using there seeds. So next time I will be getting seeds from here.

@imSICKkid thanks for the kind words. I have been really trying to do it right. Do you think I should use a smaller fluorescent light to germinate. Or can I just dim the hlg light and keep it above the plants higher until the start stretching. I dont want them to stretch to much want to keep the plants low and bushy

It doesnā€™t matter what seeds your using. The only thing the ILGM moderators care about is if you were promoting other seed banks. People all in here have grows that have nothing to do with ILGM. Your good brosky.

First I start posting pics of plants with water droplets on them, now this. The shame is too much to handle.

I use cfl bulbs for the seedlings first week. Like 5000k 55w curly bulbs. And I just use a metal hood. But technically yeah you can use your light. Just turned down all the way and about 30" above the plants. If you start seeing them stretch to much then you can lower it down some. Or if you want them to stretch a bit you can raise it up.

By no means promoting anything other than being super stoked to start growing my own smoke. So I am hoping for the best.

I am growing 4 plants now and only one of them is an ILGM strain.

Haha some people like to spray their plants and have good results with it. There are a million ways to skin a cat.

I like to use the scientific method when I do things and I think there might be something to not wanting the plant to react by not releasing the ?turpines? in the leavesā€¦ I think I have a picā€¦ yeah, maybe the water inhibits this? Guess why they say ā€˜feed the soil, not the plantā€™.

Alot of people say that spraying the leaves will suffocate the plant. But alot of people spray their plants with different mixes like seaweed. Itā€™s all preference and what you like. At the end of the day, the plant has a handful of basic necessities that you cant play with, but there are a million different things you CAN try. As long as your happy, thatā€™s all that matters

Definitely. Iā€™m trying to replicate a process. I like that idea of using the moon as a timeline for a grow. I will likely never try that.

I am wondering g after some research what in your guys experience the soil I have happy frog do I need to add or should I add anything coco coir more worm castings perlite. Any suggestions or should I roll with the soil the way it is.

After I soak my seed and germinate should I do this in a small container peat cube coco cube or the pot it is going to finish in.

Well I have no answers on soil. No one have experience with happy frog I .

Me personally I like a lot of perlite. I always put my seeds in a seedling mix or coco. The happy frog is good but you will need to add nutrients later on.

@Jbum thanks man I will get some perlite from agway either today or tomorrow. I have heard horror stories about guys transplanting autos so I may put them right in the pot. Also I need a can filter for a 6" duct any recommendations.
