Greetings Taz did you see the information on that bug trap I sent you this morning.?
Take care.
I did look at it. Im going to hold off on it. It seems better since I put 3 of the sticky traps up in the tent.
@Tas can you post a clear picture of 1 of the top colas please?
I’m seeing what looks like leaves around the buds turning brown with the pistols kinda hard to tell
Greetings, brother.
The only thing I can think of was the strain or high humidity or not the right lighting spectrum of red. Stress or wind burn can also be a player. What do you think?
Take care
That’s my thinking possible rot, it looks like it may not be getting enough airflow through the plant, it looks dense
Greetings, brother.
I had suggested beforehand on getting more air flow with caution because she has a problem with knats. It sounds like a very humid environment.
Take care
Greetings, Taz
What levels of humidity have you been able to keep? How high are your lights above your canapoy? And have you been keeping a good lux level that we discussed before?
Just going over all to get a recap. To get you the best answers.
Take care.
Greetings, brother.
What do you think with the new pics attached?
Take care
I still can’t see well enough, a side view of one of the top colas the entire side view of the branch may help
I agree with checking what RH and what kind of temps has she been exposed to?
Do you have enough airflow?
Showing some Curling of top fan leaves as well
If @tas could fill out a support ticket we can get a good look at the entire grow to diagnose properly
I just added another fan inside the tent.
I have tortured these 2…lol I have broken leaves off and repaired broken stems. It’s bushy.
My light is 12 inches from the canopy Per my light chart. The lux is 35-40,000. It’s the vivosun 100 led
Humidity has been difficult. I’m adding a dehumidifier today. First our furnace runs then A/C in the day. Rainy days etc. Everything seems to be fluctuating on me.
The gnats have disappeared for now.
I’m not stressing over it, though. I can only control what my wallet can handle.
Have a great day!
Tas
Man thats a fast growing plant! 8 weeks isnt no time at all which is cool my autos are in week 9 total and are nowhere near close to finish but i do have a 4 week old northern lights as well. Where did you get your NL from if you dont mind me asking? I got all of my autos from seedsman about to test out ilgm seeds once the grow off starts
The good thing is that northern lights are very hardy plants from what i heard they can withstand most climates and any kind of mistakes you make on the way.
Greetings, Taz.
Adding the fan and control your humidity the best you can and if you can raise your lux to 45,000 to 65,000 since it is in flower. Is a start. Keep a low air movement under the plant is important and it keeps the leaves from perspiration against each other. Next time you LST try following the techniques I sent you before and keep the airflow between the soil and the lower nodes will help with knats and bud rot possibility of coming on.
I feel IMO it is a early strain but between the stress from LST, humidity, and lightning you are doing now what you can.
If @spankyjr1 has some information it takes us all to try to help others. Take care
I don’t think it’s a light issue more of an airflow issue with fluctuating RH
Keep as much air movement as you can and pluck some leaves from the center of the plants to get more air to them
I did have a GDP throw brown pistols start to finish
I don’t see a reason to do anything else except keep an eye on them
What have your temps been?
Are they up and down as well?
I got my seeds from Seed Connect. All 3 seeds good so far. I’m going to try the auto wedding cake next.
Greetings, Taz.
Going for number three, look at you go.
It gets more and more easier and enjoyable every grow. Keeping a journal and pics are helpful plus your notes on this site. I grew a couple of Wedding Cakes from ILGM dainty little grows. Sweet tasty little buds. You got some more time to go on these you are on, won’t be long though.
I will be here.
Take care
Thank you for all your help. It was suffering for light so I spread things apart the best I could. I think 2 in this 2x2 tent may be too much with my light.
Greetings, Taz.
Do you want to see to much in a 27x27 tent. This is one plant in DWC hydroponics called Froot by the Foot auto by Atlas seed.
Yes I understand. You are better off for one plant. I literally have a jungle in my garage of to big. 2 monsters in hydroponics are eating me out of house and home 1.5 gallon of nutrients a day now coming up on 9 weeks.
Do my leaves look like they are curling or getting light burn?
