Royal Queen seeds has a lot of great info in its articles. I wish we could link them here but cant due to the competition aspect. I water my coco every day. Sometimes twice when the flowering stage is going through massive growth. Keeping it wet keeps the roots from drying and losing the tiny microscopic hairs that pick up water and nutrients. If the roots lose those hairs from dry time they have to regrow them.

No secrets here. The term for accepted watering practices in coco coir is frequent fertigation or high- frequency fertigation. In essence you get the benefit of hydro while growing in a medium.

Never let it dry out is my understanding and hard to overwater

Another good point, if you make a mistake, over fertilizing, coco imediums are easy to correct by using appropriate water to flush with.

It works both ways. Mess ups show up faster and you can correct them quicker.
