When do you turn on lights from veg to bloom?

What strain? Photo or auto.

When to switch to flower has a lot to do with the space you are growing in because the plants once switched can double and sometimes triple in size. Indica stretches far less than a sativa will 99%of the time. There’s other things to consider but imo that’s the biggest thing

example: say you have 6 feet of vertical space and you need to stay 2’ away from lights. That leaves 4’ and since they double at least if not triple you would turn your lights back at 18"-24" in height.

You can flip them at anytime, including from seedling. General rule of thumb - longer in veg = bigger roots and plant and buds; less time in veg = smaller roots and plant and buds. What the others said - all depends on how much space you have for your plants to stretch in the beginning flower phase. Good luck!!
