Our bananas all have grown 4 ft.
After a year, we learned to train as soon as they sprout.

Yeah, with a inside grow You need to manage the space. I always recommend buy the tallest tent Your space will accommodate.
And the biggest widest/tallest that the space can handle.

I’ve got an area tented off. Made my own tent to start with. Can’t get no bigger than the room itself…lol it seems that she is growing almost as wide as she is tall…lol

Question:
it seems the last month she has been spending her energy spreading wider and growing a lot of undergrowth. Not so much getting tall. Is this normal?
She has always been a slow grower with nodes close together. I’m using 2 led 4’ strips, one is for vegatative growth which is the closest light, one for flowering which is 4 inches above the other light, in a + (plus or x formation. )Level and at 90 degrees of each other . I also turn the plant 90 degrees each week. I do trim off some of the larger water leaves towards the top for better light penetration below. The upper leaves are a beautiful purple hue, the lower a lush green with purple strips down the stem of the leaf and the stem itself. The base itself is almost totally purple, making it look almost black. No idea the strain, was a seed out of some nice purple bud I saved. Any and all replies are welcome. First time grower.

Growing is the goal.
Tall, indoors is often a problem.
YouTube videos show trim routines for lower leaves.
Some do, some don’t.
I trim,but leave bud sites on lower branches (re-veg opportunities).
Both light placed the same, in my grow. Veg/Bloom and Blast, I try.
