i thought i was getting sum bugs so i used the bugblaster from here . and i used the root protector last feeding. back one has wormcasting in soil front one dont. looks like maybe over fret. or maybe calcium def. i am growing in organic soil. had a very very mild nut mix . i am going to flush with just strating water and re adjust my ph . water ph was between 6 and 6.7 back one just has the two leaves turning brown. top two pics and front one has light tips like nut burn??? help plz.
Flushing is not recommended for organic grows, keeping the medium moist so the microbes stay alive is key. A flush will rinse all those beneficial microbes away plus the nutrients leaving you to re-apply the organic dry amendments that take longer to reach the root zone to feed if that’s the route you’re taking. Give us a little history on the medium , nutrients you’re using and plants age
The leaf tips are indicating you’ve hit the nutrient threshold and no harm for now. That Lower leaf looks like splash burn from top feeding
i mixed my own soil perlite worm casting and organic . soil mix . these sweeties sprotted march 10th. i used one seedling mix of nuts about half recommended here on site . i bought nuts from here . and i gave one mix of veg nuts i bought from here. about half recommended from site. i generally water once a week .maybe twice depending on how dry soil is. i stay under 500ml each plant. i did use sum ph down last time i watered.
so the lower leaves could be just me being careless when watering? or when i bug blasted em. with a foliar spray.
Gotcha, so not organic. Seems like the plants are old enough to be watering to run off but without knowing the PPMs from that not sure I would be feeding the fertilizer. There’s nutrients available from the amended soil mixes just not sure how much. I feed at 900-1000 PPMs every time and when I did grow in these types of soil I didn’t start feeding until the run off was below 800
ill go back to straight water . no more nuts till flowering thanks bud i appreciate your quick response! i was worried it was a cal deficiency.
should i clip off those lower leaves ? these are white widow autoflower feminized from this site?
Post a few over all plant pics and I’ll check it out
an to be more specific on my soil its the kind at wally world that says organic soil on bag. im going to go with fox farm next time.
Make sure the PH is in range for soil, 6.3-6.8 with the ideal PH of 6.5
They’ve had issues over the last few years Growmie, a lot of growers here having some serious PH issues lately. I’ve heard great reviews on HP’s medium lines. I’ve used Coast of Maine Stonington Blend with great results
an i wont ever use these pots again i dislike em …
They look healthy to me Growmie
