Help me choose a light (complete newbie)

@adamltisom Hey bud! I am on my third grow and I went with the Spider Farm SF2000 (Black Friday Sale):

Spider Farmer SF2000, Samsung LM301H EVO Led Grow Light, Full Spectrum Plant Grow Light, 200W Dimmable & High Efficiency & Deeper Penetration Lamps for Seed Starting Vegetables Bloom in 2x4 Grow Tent Amazon.com : Spider Farmer SF2000, Samsung LM301H EVO Led Grow Light, Full Spectrum Plant Grow Light, 200W Dimmable & High Efficiency & Deeper Penetration Lamps for Seed Starting Vegetables Bloom in 2x4 Grow Tent : Patio, Lawn & Garden

I initially only got one light for 6 plants and I ended up with 15oz. However, @DoneDeal suggested that I add a second light during my second grow. I added it on day 41 after seedlings popped. It was a game changer. I got 30oz. of dense Blue Dream buds.

Here is a pic of my second grow when I had one light:

There is just no way to get the growth I got from the one light. Anyways, just wanted to share this with you to show you the importance of the investment into a good light setup. :v::dash:

Duplicating this post one more time. Making a decision today. Any new ideas on how to pick the best one according to me requirements?

Of those 3 I would go with spider farmer. I think that 3rd one is using older less efficient Samsung diodes. I’m no expert but I like the spectrum that spider farmer is putting out more than that hlg model

what about HLG or the second one?

LM281b diodes vs the newer, easy calculations show you save $3.24 (canadian, enough for a small coffee + donut) per month in electricity (I mean I would at 15c/kwh) taking 12.5 months to recover, to be left with a light 13% more effecient but less bright, I would ask, can I grow nice buds with LM281…?
Edit, sorry wasnt clearer the Phil uses 281’s, and I didnt make your decision easier

HLG is set for veg spectrum, so won’t be that great for flower. The 3rd option uses a lower grade doide so in conclusion the Spiderfarmer light is your best choice out of them 3. I wouldn’t wait much longer to buy bf and cm sales could end soon.

i don’t pay for electricity

Well I finally ordered a light! It was the most expensive option - Spider Farmer SF2000Pro Samsung LM301H EVO LED Pflanzenlampe For 3 Plants

Thanks for everyone replying in the thread, and @DanB for recommending specifically this lamp.

Understand it was the most expensive option but the pay back from the LM301H evo in the end of flower will definitely pay it self off and better quality buds my friend. I’m sorry it was the most expensive but is the best option. And trying to save you from my mistake. I bought a few “LED Grow lights” in the end it cost me more to get a better light…

Happy growing growbro

thanks!
