I wouldn’t rule out using nutes before 4 weeks, let the ladies decide. It’s not a given that every bag of FFHF contains enough nutes to feed ur new born for 4 weeks. U gots some leeway on ur PH also 6.5 is my upper limit for FFHF, perhaps some reading on ur PH levels using ur chosen medium. Keep n eye on ur RH, along with ur room temps.Also u made no mention of the type of lighting u plan on using. Lighting can make r break ur grow, get the best u can afford.Ur n great hands here, good people that truly want to see u succeed. U already gots some very sound advice from the good folks u tagged, it’s that easy. Good luck with ur grow, I wish u nothing but success my friend. Just my 2 pennies worth.

@AlienBrew Thank you so much for the info! Yeah when it comes to lights…I’m still learning! Unfortunately I will have to keep using the lights I bought for my 1st grow. Hopefully they are at least good enough. I have 2 different lights. I’ll post a pic. Also I will definitely be watching my pH and ppm going in and coming out, along with posting it for y’all’s help! 1st real watering will probably be Sunday which is exactly one week since planted. Right now just using domes.
The 4ft one came from Home Depot and I have 2 of those
The 1,500 watt (which now I’ve learned it’s not really 1,500 watts) came from Amazon and I only have 1

@AlienBrew I also wanted to add that right now since my 3 seedling are only 2 days old (sprouted) that I only have them under the 2 lights from Home Depot (the 4ft lights) as I was told from someone here those lights are better. Was thinking/planning on when they get a little bigger to use both of the lights for more lighting. Figured that makes sense? Any suggestions are appreciated!

For 3 plants you will need all 3 lights to get to the finish line. You have approximately 258watts total between the 3 lights.

@The_Chef Thank you so much for following along and helping me. It really is awesome to have great people that will give you the information you need and help you when you have questions. I will update as needed but at least once a week. Also if you don’t mind I would like to tag you on my updates! Will be doing 1st real watering Sunday. Will make sure to keep a log of ppm going in and out along with pH. Using Spring water with a ppm of 84 and 6.5 ph. But anyways hope to keep in touch! Thanks a million!

The oldest one is 7 days and the youngest one is 3 days. I had a bad time getting them going. My first seeds died I believe from bad seed starter spill. So I am really happy to finally have them going.

@Flitme Well congratulations this time! Maybe you would like to follow along on this thread since we are both just in the beginning stages. If you read from the top of this thread you can see the advice I’ve been given so far from some really great growers. Hopefully we both make it to the end! My first grow also died a horrible death around one month old due to lack of knowledge on almost everything! Had them growing in a $2 bag of Top Soil (lol) along with watering them at any and every pH! By the time I learned pH and what good soil was, my soil pH was over 10 with so many problems! Bad experience! I’ve learned so much since then! Good luck!

Everyone who grows experience’s failure, myself I’ve made every mistake n the book at one time r another. But I’ve never made the same mistake twice, one learns from their mistakes. U will to, I’ll bet n the not to distant future u’ll b the one giving advice. CFLs r great for seedlings n clones, no heat n u can hang’em close. The Chinese blurple u might want to start saving $$ to upgrade when u can afford it. U can get by with what u got, but ur quality n plant size will b handicapped. I kept my blurple for cracking beans n it worked fine. U keep posting, n I’ll keep lurking. Just my 2 pennies worth, my friend.

@dbrn32 Hi was always told you are the man to go to for lights. I’ve been doing a lot of research and it seems my 3 lights will probably get me threw with 3 plants but it won’t be a great yeild! I can really use some help. If you stroll up a few post on this thread you can see the 3 lights I have (2 of the 4ft lights & 1of the 1,500 watt light from Amazon) I think altogether it is about 300 watts and using the photone app I’m really having trouble reaching a high ppfd & dli numbers. Now I’m concerned about when it comes to bloom stage! Can you help me find a light. Tight budget btw. I see one people talk about called the hlg 200 Diablo? You opinion is needed desperately! I would like to stay in a budget of no more than $200 & that one is $199. Thank you so much!

@dbrn32 Sorry also wanted to add that since I have 3 lights already than could I get better results if I just buy another one of the 4ft. lights I have posted above? Then I’d have a total of 4 lights for the 3 plants. Or do I need to completely buy a whole new better light? Sorry for all the questions and hope all that makes sense. Btw I do not have a tent. Just using a spare bedroom. Would you suggest I line the walls with mylar blankets or something?

The hlg-200 with diablo boards is a nice light. If wanting to target peak dli the hlg-200 is good for around a 2x2 space on 12 hour light schedule.
How big is that tent?

Which one would you go with? If none of these please also tell! I have no tent! Im using a spare bedroom I have. Would you also recommend that I line the walls with mylar blankets or something since I’m not in a tent?

That light will flower a little over a 2 foot square area and 1 plant Brother. Those othe tagged cultivators will chime in

@OGIncognito darn I have 3 plants! I’ll wait to see what you all think. Really not trying to spend over $200 if anyone knows of a better light for around that price? Or I can buy one now and one later. Still would be enough for 2 plants and throw the 3rd outside? So many decisions!

What are you trying to do? What’s your long term goal and then I’ll have a better idea. I could say mehhh you could get by with this or that, but grow again and then you’ll be think I wanna do better. You’d be right the light is the most important part. You wanna by 3xs or 1 , just something to think about.
Btw what space you trying to grow in?
$200 your budget is 1 maybe 2 plants

HLG might still be running the 25% sale and the Diablo 200 is normally $200. So for maybe 25 bucks more you would have a killer light
