How long you veg them will determine the space you have available. 4 weeks after the seedling stage would be the soonest recommended. Need to factor in the stretch… they’ll double or more in size. Flower stage depends on the strain, Ididcas typically finish sooner that Sativas. 10-14 weeks have been the window when I grow photo periods

@Tdevine i’ll veg some more than others, it depends on my bud room. With some pruning, one can keep, a “mother”for as long as a person wants. R just prune what u gots, till they’re ready for flowering. So vegetative growth can b controlled n last as long as needed for photo period’s. I can’t speak for Auto’s, not my thing. As for how long to flower, that’s strictly up to the ladies, I know that I’m looking for about 20 to 25 percent amber trichs, so that’s my benchmark. Sometimes it’s no problem, others take longer for wherever reason. If ur interested n some LST now is the time to read up on the process, n don’t forget the many videos on the computer.

Never know what ur going to see, when u walk outside. Literally could b anything. Got 4 different pics of bears n the last several years. Mo. Conversation comes n and traps, n tags, gather’s vital info, n releases them. The last pic, the bear is sporting a new collar. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing 1 on stand, while deer hunting. I think I shook for 1/2 hr from the endorphins released that morning. WoW, good stuff!!

Yeah, i love this place. Been reading journals, help threads, nutrition, etc etc. Been doing all i can to learn. I have 2 grows going actually. One is photoperiod, 2 black and blue and 1 white widow…about killed them all!! Was using miracle grow, wasnt aware of what i was doing. Got help amd have them rescued! Realized the 3 x 3 wasnt going to work so i purchased a 4x4. Then decided to add 3 gorilla glue auto and 3 girl scout cookie extreme autos…seemed like a good ide at the time lmao…but its going well now!!!
Here is where im at! Started photos like 7 weeks ago…but they almost died. The autos dropped Easter Sunday.
Top photo, the 3 large bushy ones are 2 black and blue monster and 1 white widow. The other ones are 2 gg and 1 gsce. Bottom pic is 2 gsce and 1 gg

You sound like me the first time I “tried” to grow some. Didn’t know what I needed to know at all! Completely fried them! Used top soil for my medium, watered with tap water with many unknown nutes! They literally FRIED!!! pH of soil was well above 10! A nightmare! But like you I also have read read read and learned.
