I have a plant whose leaf is hard to the touch and kind of crunchy. This is my first grow and I’m stressing.
Plants are entering the third 3 week. I just gave them their first nutrients a few days ago. Out of 8 plants its the only one like this. I have noticed a few yellow tips on my other plants.
My grow light is a Samsung LM301H EVO. 700 watts. The light does not come with adjustable levels. I have my light 40 inches away.
Any advice would be great
tly appreciated.

Don’t know a lot and I’m sure you’ll get some help from other experienced growers here but I can say that they will want more info as far as soil your in, temp and humidity for day and night, are you ph ing your water? The thing I do know is they are to young yet for nutrients yet I believe and if you search around on this site here you can find picture charts with pics of deficiencies and may help you diagnose that way!

Water is PH at 6.4. Plants are 2 weeks old tomorrow. I’m guessing im underwatering. Temp is 73 degrees with 54% humidity. Light they are receiving is 18 on 6 off.
I’ve been watering 30ml every two days?

Ima reiterate I’m no expert BUT I would not recommend watering more if your not 100% they need it, at that young of an age they don’t uptake through the roots that much.i would start with drastically upping your humidity to 65-70% even slightly higher if you have good air circulation. Ocean forest is pretty hot for seedlings (full of nutrients not yet needed). I would say it’s a little of low humidity mixed with a soil that’s giving to many nutrients right now. If I am correct a temp of 73 and humidity of 54 is a pretty high vpd which makes plants take in more water and nutrients quicker which is leading to a nitrogen or phosphorus abundance. I would also recommend not having a water schedule at this stage, just water when soil is dry, you don’t want damping off or root rot. Hope this helps but I’d up humidity immediately for sure and wait for a little more knowledge to respond to your post. But hopefully this should help out til then

Yea relooked at your pics, I think your watering is fine leaves look good as far as strength, color, and not drooping
I have a humidifier in the tent now and cant seem to break 55%. Do i add another humidifier or turned down my vent?
Yea that’s what I do. Does your humidifier have levels? Or is on just on and off just off? No level 1-2-3?
Yea I know the battle Im kinda dealing with same thing but have it pretty dialed rn until my ac infinity one shows up Wednesday that plugs into controller. But you can play with the vent settings and humidity will build in the tent and lung room over time. I’ve played with vent settings plus lung room door opened/closed, vent settings plus window cracked all of it so I get the struggle! Is your humidifier in tent or outside tent in your lung room?

It is located inside my tent.
Looks like they had excess moisture earlier on and then dried out. This happens to a lot of mine early on, because I let they touch the humidity domes. Water droplets will get on the leaf tips, and then when the dome is removed, and they are exposed to a dryer environment, they crisp up. I wouldn’t worry too much, unless it continues to progress. As long as your pH and ppms are pretty in check, they shoukd grow out ok.

Is that light an AC Infinity? Plants look great and would recommend transplanting those to their final vessels
Yes, its from ac infinite. Im hoping to transplant today. Once i transplant how much wtaer should they receive?

Those lights are dimmable Growmie, you should have a control wire with a push button dimmer. I moisten the soil then transplant and wait several days before watering or feeding.
These were transplanted at 17 days above ground. This is week 3 watering, water or feed away from the main stem to promote root growth
