I have used distilled water only and with peroxide, didn’t see any difference whatsoever. Lol I just popped 21 for a seed breeding run and I used peroxide on them, probably at 1:20 ratio.

Folks are stating some stuff that does not match with my experience with fox farms.
Having used a lot of FF and having tested the products for my own use I can state that Happy frog is a buffered mix and OF is not. Slurry testing will bare this out and that is why I use OF for beans and vine stuff like Indiana melon. Mixing the 2 50-50 uses the buffered part of HF to buffer the OF.
Moving PH around in a garden is beneficial to plants because the can uptake different parts of the nutrition at different times. A shift from 6 to 7 during fruit production increases uptake of P and K but can lead to a lack of mg.
Having said that I do think the main thrust of this topic FOR THIS OP is a lot of down in the weeds for this growbro. His seedling was not pulling nutes and my statement of a hot mix would have been correct if the plant was more developed but as a seedling all the nutrition is coming from the plant.
Square away your seedling placement and routine and fix the humidity and watering.

Guys I am 1 of the caveman simple growers here. I wrote a simple rockwool method that works 90+%.
I use water sprout to soil. Straight to soil and this method for multiples when refilling a tent and cooking my soil.
This method is friendly to all grow mediums. Hydro/coco/soil. If you would like to read it it is linked here. Do not need the big propagator. Just a clear lid on a solo will work.
Hope this helps. Starting beans and killing seedlings is a new growers bane. Once in a good veg state cannabis is tough. Patience and leaving beans and seedlings alone is the key. Start them right then letem grow. If you believe they need water much you will be incorrect. A taproot can grow to the bottom of a pot in days seeking water. A good thing. Gl and lets get you guys growing. Many ways to start and all are up here in the forum. Pick 1 you like and roll with it.

I never “mist” the plant (seedlings or clones).
I mist spray the solo cup dome.
The dome ensures humidity without drowning the seedling.
Practice.
FFHF, perlite, and BigFoot Mycho.
