Hey Everyone,
I am just starting week 6 of flower and getting some discoloration on some leaves. Any ideas?I did add a 3rd ts600 last week. It is about 82-84in tent lights on 70-74 lights off. I had the lights about 5” from the top nugs. I just raised them a little thinking maybe light stress? Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks
this was awful close …most lights don’t recommend that close
Yup yup, I am with the oldguy haha!. I have 2 of the TS1000’s and my minimum is 12" but I move up when I get to that minimum and try to keep my lights at 16" above the canopy.
More info would also help. Watering, nutes, soil etc…You could also drop your daytime temps a bit. Not totally out of range on the high end but 75º would be ideal.

Non dimmable LEDs
- Hang your LED grow lights between 20" - 30" above seedlings.
- As your plants reach vegetative growth, move your LEDs down to about 18".
- To improve production, try lowering LEDs to 16" during flowering.
Dimmable LEDs - Hang your LED grow lights at 18" - 24" at 25 percent intensity for seedlings.
- Bring your LEDs to about 18" during vegetation and set the dimmer to 50 percent.
- Keep your LEDs at 18" and turn them to full intensity.
Could be light, but my experience is that leaves just get old and tired as flowering goes on. You’re quite a ways in, so could just be that because your buds look great. This plant stayed nice and green for a long time, but the last couple of weeks the leaves are just starting to fade, and look ugly, but the buds are nice.
Yea i guess it could just be late flower leaves dying off. Im at day 42 of flower flipped on June 19th. I did add that 3rd light a week ago and didn’t raise them up at that point. It seems like the buds under the middle of the lights have the most discoloration. Adding that light also kicked my light on temps up about 5-7degrees from what it was with 2. Idk if i even really needed a 3rd. It seemed like i was getting good results with 2 ts600’s but people were saying 200 watts wasn’t enough for a 3x3 so figured bump it to 300 watts. I raised them up about 3-4” so hopefully that does the trick.
some folks go with 100-150w per plant regardless of the footprint.
Others go with the footprint and may grow 3-4 plants but have a 600w light in there.
We all have to find our sweet spot based on so many variables.
I love it!!! I see the plant right next to it is super healthy and green.
