Aside from all the scientific, mathematical input on light distance and power that im getting from others, which is helpful as well, what distance/ Watts would you say I should be at about now. Of course the auto in the middle is kind of an x factor. Currently 18" above tops of photos and 100w. Lots going on and kinda lost sight of that aspect. @Hellraiser .
They look content to me at the moment?

Lose the light hanging wires and carabiner and just run a ratchet rope hanger to each light hanging point - done and have a lot more space to raise lights.

Itās what Dr Bruce Bugbee was doing in his grows - 650 ppm from sprout to harvest, sounded good to me so gave it a shot and worked out well, I do like to go a bit higher in flower 800-850 ppms.
About 650 ppm is a good place to start, never seen any nute burn at that level even with seedlings and is fine for all of veg, just enough for no deficiencies and not enough for any burn, just get some runoff so the nutes/salts donāt build up too much in the medium.
Well, youāre always have some nute/salt buildup so runoff ppm over 1000 would be quite normal and not a problem even closer to 2000 ppm.

Theyāre looking very content so your current height/watts is fine for now. I use height and watts to dial in the temps I want in the tent. Say my temps are at 73F and I want 78F (for faster growth), then Iād move the light up a bit and give some watts to warm up the tent to where I want it, same amount of light hitting the plants pretty much but I get the temps Iām aiming for.
Another way to guage the light distance/watts is too look at the plant growth, more light will cause shorter nodes making a āsquatter plantā while less light will allow more stretch. Dial in the light to change the way the plant is growing as needed/wanted.

I feel the one auto is making my grow look bad! Wont become an auto guy, thatās for sure. Kind of being a pain for me. Self imposed pain, so i really canāt complain. Anxious to top the photos when ready. 5-6 nodes?
Yes I wait til 5 or 6 nodes then top above the 4th or 5th depending on how many branches I want.

Last question of the dayā¦i would like to change my 18/6 schedule by 2 hrs earlier. Stay 18/6 but shift back 2 hrs. Shooting for lights being on closer to getting home from work so i can do whatever with them. Right now, lights out till im bout ready for bed! If feasable, any particular way to go about it? @Hellraiser
R they plants in veg or flower ones veg wont matter either way but flower id just go normal and next on time start ot 2 hrs early to get on track veg just however and u should be good.

They only like 25 days from germ, but still donāt want to foul anything up. They know when its time for lights on or off! 20 minutes before lights on, they start to wake. The photos that is. Crazy how they know. Lights come on next at 730 pm eastern.

I know you are not asking me butā¦ let them shut off at usual time. When they are āasleepā make the changeā¦
2 hours off the end, add 2 hours to the frontā¦
Same thing with 12/12, let them shut off at normal time and shave the hours off the front or back.

I would just change the hours to what you want, no biggie. One shorter or longer night is not going to do anything while in veg. In flowering, any light change I always go for a longer night over a shorter one.

Im early to bed, early to rise, and would like to do maintenance sooner than later after work. Pretty much my entire reasoning behind it. I assumed at this stage, no harm done with my photos. Thanks again.

@Hellraiser hey buddy can you explain how this went wrong and why she turned into he overnight, strain is Willy Nelson seed came from a bag I picked up, vegged her 14 weeks to beast her out and bam!
