Yeah I’d cut back on the calimagic a bit and maybe go 4ml/gal on the grow a and b to try to bring it down a little more as well.

are you using ph up or down? that will effect your ppms also.

Yeah i only use ph up as little as possible, does add to the ppm.

i was having to use 9-10 ml of ph up depending on the mix with the fox farms to get it to 6.5 6.6 with the ro and 5ml of cali magic. the calimagic really drove the ppm up also.

Any topping or training? Or just let them rip? Aren’t the shorter ones in front going to suffer because of light differential? Or, do you have a separate light over it / them?

@SmallTree there is something very pleasing about a well manicured plant. May I ask how long it took to get it to that point? Tell me if I am wrong, this is what I see. Apical stem topped #1 the resulting growth tips topped #2 and then each growth tip topped again #3.

Yea I used like a quarter teaspoon for 4.5 gallons and it brought it down to 5.9

At what point do you consider “day 1” of veg for timeline to flip, is it a specific number of nodes or days above ground? Do you do a set number of weeks in veg or do you judge when to flip based off size ?

Yes I topped the apical stem roughly at 5 weeks, then continued to top all growth tips a week after each other,
#1 initial cut and all nodes cleared except 3rd , Day 1, Week 5
#2 topped growth tip from 3rd node Day 1, Week 6
#3 topped growth Day 1 Week 7
#4 Train all stems to grow flat and even across bottom of tent. Weeks 8 through potentially 12, I got the nets for this because the stems already go over the edge of the pot and I don’t want to cut all my wire ties.

Not really, just swapped out the bspec boards for rspec boards. I have enough rspec and bspec boards to make quite a few lights, loaded with spare boards and drivers - the parts that can fail, I always have backup parts for lights and ventilation. Disaster recovery and business continuity is a specialty of mine.

Can also use the flower A as opposed to grow A for lower nitrogen?

Day 1 of veg is the day it sprouts. Seedling/sprout is just a stage of vegetative growth. I veg plants til they fill the tent, usually 8-10 weeks, sometimes longer if waiting for girls in the flowering tent - which will no longer be a thing for me.
I’m going away from a dedicated veg and flower tent, I now now consider both of my Gorilla tents as full service tents - veg and flower and have enough lights to pull it off so I’m no longer going to be a slave of waiting for the flower tent to clear out.

Yes, they are getting very hard to get, specially the 32 oz wide mouths that I prefer. I even ordered some at a crazy price on amazon - almost $60 for a dozen and even at that price they never came - was told UPS lost the shipment.
