Hellraiser grows Gorilla Glue and other stuff

I don’t mind at all.

Got a light add-on for the flowering tent, it’s a HLG 30 watt UVA supplement light

Pretty blue light, bolted right on to the HLG 550 v2 rspec

Of course the new guy gets to researching UVA lights, interesting read about UV lights in general. You will be increasing your THC levels.

Thats the plan. See what it does to my cherry ice cream clones, then the gorilla glues.

If you don’t mind me asking, did you get that directly from HLG. Also is powered by current lights or does it come with its own power source.

Yes, directly from HLG, has it’s own power source and cord but’s there’s also wiring for daisy chaining to another light power cord.

I think my pH is too high. Here’s my dilemma- We are still on a well and septic tank, and we’ve never drank or cooked with our water. We have an tankless water heater and treatment system. Our well water is full of sediment, rust, lime, you name it’s

I’ve been using the bottled drinking water. But it’s been in the 7 to 7.5 range. Soil and water separately and mixed.

What products and or methods do you use to adjust Ph?

Thanks

Digital ph meter and ph up and down, adjust water to 6.5 for soil.

Get that PH dialed in!! I am just finishing up my first run and focused on environment at first…while environment is super important PH crept up about 4 weeks in really bad. I used spring water thinking it was in range. What really drove the nail was went I introduced nutrients. That will totally change your PH range depending on what products you are putting into the water. When you get that meter and start introducing nutes…the process for PH’ing goes like this…Water in bucket, food in bucket, then PH to desired levels. After learning the hard way I never put anything into the plant without a PH meter on it first…including sweat off my forehead when working under the lights for a while:)

Good news I found recovery is quick once you are back in range!!

Please don’t let that poor little experimental, over watered plant die. That will break my heart, as I’ve become fond of the little “special” tyke. Water torture her if you must but please let her live!

She’s already in recovery, I removed her from the solo cup using the banana peel method to avoid any root damage, then put in her in a bigger pot without watering after the transplant, the dry soil will wick off the excess moisture from the over saturated root ball. After she drys up a little, gonna give her a nice drink with some root healthy tonics. We’ll see what she looks like in a couple days.

You’re a good man Hellraiser. May the cannabis gods forever smile upon you.

I

But I forgot to finish
my post, but it was about whether to use our tap water or should I use bottled water just so I test the ph?

@mandoVol, you don’t have a way of checking it now. The meters will come with calibration packs, and you will need distilled water. As far as tap versus well, I couldn’t say…

Thanks gents.

I’m trying to find a tent, I can’t get anyone to respond. I guess it’s tough to with all that’s going on.

I need a 5 x 2.5 x 7 tent but I guess nobody makes them.

Thats a great question! If you are softening the well water it might not be plant friendly, you might want to research the exact system and chemicals your system uses to see if its plant friendly. Eitherway, I would revert back to Hellraiser’s post. Get the meter (it might come with a known PH test substance), Ph up and down and always check PH if you are not doing that today. It will make your thumb much greener!!!

Thanks gents, you guys are the best!

Not a common size, this should be close enough

I was trying to give GH my business because I like how they have their own proprietary-ish” ventilation system where you strap everything in-line to the top supports, so I’m going to have to burden you for your opinion on an air system that will be enough when I install the two QB’s in September.
I think you mentioned the 6 inch fan.

I don’t put a lot of stock in reviews, but when I see that HydraFarms are overwhelmingly negative, I have to put the brakes on.
